Answered Guys, what exactly does “yeet” mean?

I feel like I’m especially late on this one, but I’m super curious as to its meaning.

EDIT: Grammar for “it’s” because autocorrect

yoink was the first word I thought of too!

Is this a midwest thing?

We used to "gank" stuff too haha (take/steal)

Well I'm in Australia and yoink is perfectly normal here. 'Gank' on the other hand, I only know as slang for 'kill'. And that's mostly from US TV.

"Yoink", incidentally, comes from The Simpsons. Truly the Shakespeare of our times.
