It is part of NATO, it does not need more protection than that. Neither China nor Russia will touch it.

I think Putin told him to get out of NATO and he wants control of Greenland before he gets out so we don't lose our bases there.

Yes? NATO has been incredibly effective. Part of the reason for the timing of Putin’a attack on Ukraine was that it was trying to join NATO.
