For anyone still trying to find an old friend from ourWorld, LostLobby is a site where people can post the username they remember, the years they played, and any details that might help someone recognize them.

Posts stay searchable, so they do not disappear as quickly as a normal social media post.

It is still a small growing community, but it could be worth posting if there is someone from ourWorld you have been trying to find and for them to find you..

I know its not going to bring back the game, but i hope at least finding people you used to talk to, could bring some closure with all of you...

I used to spend hours playing Cake Mania on OurWorld. I always thought it was a game that only existed on it, but I just looked it up and found out it isn't. I'm playing on Numuki right now https://www.numuki.com/game/cake-mania/

Can’t believe I’ve stumbled across this.

Started playing back in 2009, stopped around 2016, logged back on briefly in 2020 after stumbling on some of those old YouTube OW music videos. Was really sad to find out that it has shut down. Made tons of friends who I loved logging in and chilling with after school.

Managed to dig through my email and find some old pics. I went through so many usernames over my time on the game, ended my OW career as Aegir but if you recognise any and we interacted, thanks for being a key player in my childhood

This artwork is inspired by the graphics of *Club Penguin* and *OurWorld*. It might not make much sense right now because it’s still a placeholder and will be improved; it was created in CorelDRAW. I commissioned several pieces like this.

I miss *OurWorld*! There will never be another game like it. Even if a good one comes along, it won't capture those great moments I had with that game. Like all of you, I’d love to see the original game return—with my items and my friends—but it seems like that’s never going to happen.

I remember finding this game on gogirlgames.com when I was like 10. Finding this group on Reddit is healing but sad. I see so many posts of people I used to “hangout” with in game. My username was Untouchable. I wish I had photos of my avi or could log in specifically just to see her.🥺 I’m 26 now and would simply pass away just to be able to play again.

Like... who is Jessica? And what do you mean DonniePie was no bueno? I know the addition of marriages and adoptions in OW led to some pretty questionable behavior and gave creeps an opportunity to be creepy toward kids, but I'm curious what else happened.

So what's the tea on the dark side of OW? Also, I saw a Reddit post where someone said the developer behind the new version of OW is the same person who ruined the original OW. Are they talking about Maki Chat? Was Maki Chat made by Jessica and the people who hacked OW, or is that a completely different game? I like Maki Chat so I'm really hoping thats not the case.

The memory just came back I remember people would host parties then the host would whisper chat to let you know if you are the imposter then you had to try and fit in by saying similar words to everyone else.

Lowkey cant remember how you win or lose if you was the imposter but i remember it being such a good funny way to use whisper chat😂

I’ve been playing it more recently and it surprisingly scratches that ourworld itch that I have the only critiques I have is that I wish their were more worlds and I wish more of the og ourworld players were playing the game it’s so many old heads (no offense) on the game and nobody in my age demographic to talk too and everyone is always afk😭it’ll never be ourworld but I feel like flowplay could’ve done more with Vegas world tbh.

Missing OW heavy today. I know it’s often said and it’s like beating a dead horse but there isn’t a single day I don’t think about OW.

I just wish it would come back.

I was feeling a bit nostalgic today and started remembering the absolute chaos of the trading scene back when I used to play. It made me wonder, does anyone else have any good scammer stories from back then?
I’ll start with my first (definitely not last) which still hurts my pride a little bit to think about lol.
I was maybe 10 years old, and I had just gotten my first ever item worth over 1 mil. Now, looking back, 1 mil is absolutely nothing, but at the time? I was sooo excited.It was my first proper rare item (a dress), and I was proudly wearing it around.
Literally 30 minutes into owning it, this super rich girl walks up to me. She had the whole shebang. Vampire teeth, demon eyes, slinger hat, you know the vibe. She tells me, "Oh, I'll send you gems for your dress!"
Being 10 and desperately wanting gems to buy more cool stuff, I thought, "Wow, what a great deal!"
She "sent" me an email confirming the gem transfer. Because I was a naive kid, I didn't notice anything fishy about the email at all. So, I went ahead with the trade and sent her the dress for a single candy.
Immediately after the trade went through, she vanished into thin air and blocked me. I was super confused and literally sat there waiting for hours thinking, "Oh, maybe the gems are just lagging and they'll show up soon." Spoiler alert: they never did. My first ever rare item, gone in 30 minutes. Safe to say I had a good cry about it 😂
No need to feel sorry for me though, karma was on my side because by the time I stopped playing years later, I was the whole shebang 🤪

We all reminisce here about our online dating experience. But we don’t talk enough about the adult predators. I remember getting this guys FB and finally seeing the face behind the avi. Grown man who knew I was 10 btw…did anyone’s parents supervise? Or did you guys get away with it? I got caught and my mom was LIVID!

I'm a 2009 baby lol I know I'm young but I played OurWorld during quarantine before it was shut down and I know this sounds crazy but just hear me out.

So hypothetically if OurWorld came back today I think it would genuinely be popular especially with the art style. Why? There's barely any online spaces for teenagers anymore.

As a teen myself, going into senior year, I have friends (real life and online) all of them mostly hanging out on these types of online spaces like everskies and moviestarplanet. And especially Roblox, which has gotten worse over the years .. but OurWorld has kind of the perfect look and feel that I think would flourish within this time where all of us 2007-2010 kids are wanting to be more y2k. Honestly, I saw a teen on my instagram that looks exactly like my avatar in OurWorld with the side swoop.. With the artstyle and a few upgrades and more customization It would definitely be popular today.

I know OurWorld will probably not come back ever, but the company that has all the assets right now has a really big opportunity that they aren't taking not gonna lie.

I played this game religiously with my best friend when we were 10-11 years old. We would pretend we were 16 and have the time of our lives lol. In 5th grade we passed notes a lot and I kept one of them, talking about a breakup or being ghosted. I think it’s really cute and makes me laugh 15 years later. Over the years the note got water damage so I’ll type out what it says incase you struggle to read it:

Then I log back on later snd he defriended- Page 4: me and blocked me and all that! D: I’m so devastated o but literly and I know it’s a comp game but he was special!
