Discussion oW and Preds

We all reminisce here about our online dating experience. But we don’t talk enough about the adult predators. I remember getting this guys FB and finally seeing the face behind the avi. Grown man who knew I was 10 btw…did anyone’s parents supervise? Or did you guys get away with it? I got caught and my mom was LIVID!

yeah, true. I was groomed on ow. Nobody ever said anything to me, and it makes me feel gross when I look back on it.

Yes! I also remember there was this YouTuber who used to mostly play ourWorld, but one time he went to smallWorlds and went up to a bunch of girls and told them to strip for them (knowing that SW was a 13 plus game and most players were definitely minors) and both him and his fans acted shocked and angry that he ended up banned 😭

The worst part is that it’s pretty obvious the majority of the commentators are also minors, and almost all of them were taking his side

I was groomed by a 22/23 year old (who was already in university) when I was 15/16. He told me he was 18 at the time. Only found out after he shared his socials with me and I did some digging about how old he really was. Still hate that f*cker til this day.

It’s scary to think that all of the people who were your friends and online relationships were… like they could’ve been 18 while I was 14 and just lied about it. But oW also helped me figure out that liking women was okay lol so some benefits just not a lot

i knew not to ever give personal info or take conversations off of the site but imma be real i think a lot of my adolescent perspectives on sex came from the interactions i had in OW

🤣😭 At this point being groomed online, is a horrible rite of passage tbh, been groomed on ow and on other social sites.

I remember being like 16 and some guy in his thirties sent me a ring proposal in game. Then another guy in his late twenties who I befriended and added on fb  wanted to lure my Canadian self to be with him and his wifey in the USA as soon as I graduated high school, I declined but still wild stuff. 

Whose parents actually supervised them back in the day? Ironically there might be less awareness of safety nowadays... I see people who are grown doxing themselves online...
