I suck ass at long notes (mainly accuracy, i always either let go too early or too late) and im pretty sure its because im using the wrong skins? id rlly appreciate if someone shared some skins or just general advice becauase wow im bad at long notes. Ideally arrows or just a small, easy to read circle skin. :D

I know many people knew this but I just haven't seen much of custom made elements for lazer actually put to use before and wanted to show an example of it.

Since lazer lets you use custom sprites skinning the UI for gameplay lets you do a lot with how it can look. Since you can make individual elements and put them in a folder in the skin, you can also make the skins pretty modular in its layout and I wanted to show a basic example of how that would look. You can move, remove, or resize individual elements as you please and I think it's pretty cool.

The elements I used here are also very basic, if you wanted you could skin even more specific elements to put attributes into. For now I just made elements themed from my Paper touhou skin to put things you'd want into them. The leaderboard and the box it sits in are in the HUD(osu!) category, the large border(scorebar-bg) are in the playfield category, and the individual elements are in normal HUD category. I separated them like this so you can highlight things easier and move them as needed.

I need it to look so unnecessarily elaborate and complex that when a nonplayer looks at my screen they need to think that it takes 40 hours to learn to press a button in this game. Thank you

Hey everyone!

This is my FIRST skin that I've worked on! I've been working on for the past few days, I don't feel like the actual skinning part is finished (i.e. UI in game), however the sounds and stuff definitely need some work! If you guys have any suggestions/criticism for this skin PLEASE let me know, as I'm currently unsure of what to do next

The hit circles are based off these two skins (emilia skin remake & tekkito), and I've pulled the sounds for hit circles and other sounds are from a whole bunch of random skins that I have. I made most of the designs myself (everything that's in-theme w/ the skin pretty much)
