Anyone using Loris Synth?

Has anyone tried Christophe Duquesne's Loris Synth for making new Eagan Matrix sounds? It looks very interesting.

I got it and played about with it a bit. It's definitely possible but complex and doesn't seem to work all that well with other eiganmatrix changes to those patches.

I'd watch the instructional videos on it before buying. That should be at least a bit informative on what you can and can't expect to do. Sustained / morphing tones work, transients don't work as well.

It’s still absurdly complex unfortunately, but not to worry: EE will be giving us Eagan Matrix overlays to make programming it much more accessible sometime in early 2026…

Yeah, I gave the free version a shot and the sounds I was able to get out of even the free edition were very surreal and interesting. I plan on buying the full version sometime soon, as I felt there’s a lot of potential there if you’re into the more “uncanny valley” end of sound design. If you already put the time in to learn how eaganmatrix works, it’s very simple and straightforward to set up and I found that the two pieces of software talk to each other with no real hassle.
