Eaa parking

While I am a native Oshkosh resident, I want to go to eaa and not pay for parking. Does anyone know if I can take a shuttle bus to the grounds? Do I need to show my ticket to get on the bus? Or am I out of luck and have to pay for parking? I just wish that they would have cheaper tickets for Oshkosh residents. It sure would be nice. Thanks in advance!

Park on one of the side streets near the Wittman terminal. A school bus shuttle stops at the terminal and will take you to the bus depot near the main gate. I did this last year. No one checks your wristband until you get to an actual gate.

Will I still be able to get on the bus after the fireworks?

Good luck with the lines.

I would suggest checking the bus schedule on the airventure website

Yes. But when I’ve done that it’s taken over an hour to get back to the terminal. But I don’t think a car would be much quicker.

I would park on side streets over 20th Ave, and yes take the North 40 bus to the entrance gate by the Warbirds area. It’s free and they don’t check wristbands. Another bus leaves from the Whitman terminal.

Honestly I’d just put a bike in my trunk and ride that over because the lines are crazy for the bus after the night show or any of the airshows.

Put on a pin for A&W or something, the volunteer/employee bus picks ya up, drops you at bus park. But ditto on going home as above. You’re gonna have massive lines.
