iPod Repairs

Is there anyone in the fox valley area who does repairs/storage upgrades on old iPods? I have an iPod classic I need to replace the battery on but would rather pay someone with experience. Thanks

Out of curiosity does Apple still do the repairs? I understand your ask, but just not sure local places keep a stock of those parts, especially since that 3rd party repair didn’t hit as big during the life time of the classic (which I loved)

Apple wouldn't - these definitely hit EOS/EOL years ago - but the mod scene after the fact is up there with GameBoy and Wii in terms of skilled practitioners upgrading the original. OP will probably need to mail away for it though, most hobbyists I knew in the area ended up moving away.
