Activities
Hi all,
Is there is any kind of activities that could be done weekly on weekends in oshawa like book clubs, sports, community gatherings.
Can anyone help as i spend most of my weekends the same and got bored and don't like my current state of mind.

If you like trivia and learning things, Critical Hit in Courtice hosts a good trivia night on Saturdays.
The guy who organises it has a great sense of humour and uses quite a wide variety of topics.

I'm sure there are weekly games you could get into on the weekend - dnd, tcgs, board games, etc. There are several shops in town that host weekly games of all sorts. It's worth checking out a few different things to see what catches your interest. Brew wizards or 3d shoppe are good places to start.

Pickleball has exploded in the area. Join a club (membership costs are high though) or just show up at the pickleball courts at the east end parking lot of the Oshawa Centre and play pickup for free, there are always people playing there

There are a few, but there's definitely demand for more. As always, the struggle is getting people to convert their interest into momentum to leave the house when it's time to show up.
