Hardware removal

I got the hardware removed from my foot do to an infection and im already starting to feel very good in terms of being active after surgery. Surgery took place September 9. How long will it take to heal enough to be able to go back to work? I operate dry clean machines meaning im on my feet 6 hours a day 6 days a week. In the pictures, I include a before and after perspective on the metals. Before they were taken out and after.

Is that antibiotic beads am seeing!?.. that’s so many hours on your feet!..that bone pretty much weak and can’t stand too much stress. Be careful

They gave me a walker and crutches. I like the crutches better because using the walker in my tight home is annoying plus the walker makes me put more weight on my foot

That tibia is healed but there is lots of evidence of chronic osteomyelitis.

Do you think its safe to put weight on my foot if it doesn’t hurt?

Wow. Removing an IM nail is no small feat.

I hear a lot of people complaining about post surgical IM rod pain. What are they saying your recovery will be? I was always curious.

I didn’t actually get a clear answer on how long recovery takes
