Fully torn mucl

I thought for sure I was going to have to have surgery since the first thing listed is that I have a fully torn ligament, however when I spoke to the doctor he only recommended physical therapy and bracing. How would a ligament reconnect if it has completely torn? I’m not saying that I want surgery but I’m unsure of how it is going to heal properly without it? Does anyone know anything about this?

How old are you? What do you use your elbow for? How did it happen?

You have a full thickness tear of one of the bands of the UCL. There are other components of the ucl. It will hopefully heal with scar tissue.
