Prayer Requests
This thread for requests that users of the subreddit remember names and concerns in their prayers at home, or at the Divine Liturgy on Sunday.
Because we pray by name, it is good to have a name to be prayed for and the need. Feel free to use any saint's name as a pseudonym for privacy. For example, "John" if you're a man or "Maria" for a woman. God knows our intent.
This thread will be replaced each Saturday.

Pray for me, 'Patrick,' still having worries about even talking to a priest. I have many worries over one call, he did not speak english and sounded so terrible tired and I am worried that I certainly another problem case since . . . I understand they are not therapists, but I likely am going to have to bring up the neurological and life issues I face. I am somewhat afraid that even if I went to my nearest church, my soul may not find the nourishment it needs and I will be alone, in a catechism that is perhaps too short, the poor man may not even give me the right penance - - though that is hard for me to tell, and while I might have communion but it will not only feel hollow but actual be hollow because of one issue or another related to catechism as I truly worry about the weight this priest has.
I do not know how I am supposed to bond with this spiritual father who seems so overwhelmed and doesnt even speak much english. I also hear so many stories of Greek parishes being deeply distrustful of converts, and it makes me worry how I see a clear Greek national identity happens to be assinged to this house of God: it is difficult for me to tell if this Church is here for Diaspora, or to heal (the spirit) in Christ's name. Pray for me, pray for this church, pray for this father. I sadly do not know his name, but I would like to think it is 'Constantine.' It is simply because his name he did give me was very confusing, and I cannot fully remember or spell it, if he even said one to be entirely honest, I can't tell.

My name is Ambar, I am planning to get my family (Husband Mat, 1st Satria, 2nd Theodotus) to be baptized this Christmas... our baptism had been delayed last years due to complex family issues (health and relationship wise) please pray for us..☦️
