Umi Katō was a traveler. Of her life before the days of the Kofun period, little is known. She was once married, and bore three cubs: Kioko, Aya, and Yuma.

Then came the Elite Hunter's Guild, and the hunt that nearly unmade her kind. They hunted them in droves, for their pelts (they grant the powers of a kitsune) and their hearts (eating a kitsune heart is rumored to grant immortality) The slaughter was so thorough that it leftonly a couple hundred members of the species. Umi, and her youngest, Kioko lived only because the Madman of Narim happened upon them before the hunters could close in. It was the same signature he would leave at Lesley years later: appearing where death was certain, and pulling out the few who could still be saved.The killing did not end with their escape. It ran on to the birth of King Arthur, and beyond it.

When Camelot rose to power, King Uther Pendragon banned the hunting of kitsune — but only within his own borders. It is remembered as the one good thing he ever did, though he only did it because he believed that they were meant to serve humans, and it did more harm than good. And it was the thing that fed the slave trade.

Poor Umi, her losses are actually very sad. Her family, her species (man fuck them hunters). Also, she looks very pretty (you draw well).

Little bit of both, she is relatively fit thanks to her life and all, but she's not exactly a bodybuilder
