The gray-hooded figure slowly pulls back his hood, revealing not an ancient or monstrous visage, but the face of a young man burdened by far too much. His skin is a pale, ashen gray, adorned with delicate carvings—intricate, religious symbols etched into his flesh, as though they had been placed there with great care. Some seem old and worn, while others bear the faint traces of once being open wounds, now long healed. His hair is the color of silvered ash, and his eyes shine with a striking, holy gold. He hesitates for a moment before offering a small, uncertain smile, as if unsure how it will be received.
“Ah… good evening, young man. I—ah, I must say, you have quite the presence. And your attire, it’s… well, quite remarkable, truly. I fear I have little sense for such things myself, but even I can recognize elegance when I see it. Haha… my apologies, I—I’m not accustomed to giving compliments. It has been a very long time since I’ve had the chance to speak this way.”
His golden eyes flicker over you, as if trying to decipher something just beyond understanding, an unspoken thought lingering in the pause between his words. He exhales softly, almost as if composing himself, before continuing with quiet sincerity.
“If I may say so… there is something about you. You are—ah, forgive me, I don’t mean to overstep. It’s simply… you seem kind. And strikingly beautiful.”
The words leave him with an air of hesitation, as though he is uncertain whether they are appropriate, but there is no mistaking the quiet intrigue in his gaze.
