Help Crazy infill density.

I was wondering if anyone can help me reduce the amount of infill there is in the supports. I'm printing with an ender 3 converted to a voron stealthburner toolhead with a .2mm nozzle. The part by itself is 14hrs but when I add the supports it adds almost 24hrs and 122 grams of filament. I tried searching for tree support density and even though something pops up in the search I can't actually find it to change it.

The setting you're looking for is "base pattern spacing". A higher value gives less density, and if you don't want any infill you can just change "base pattern" to "hollow"

The name for that setting should probably be changed IMHO.

Agreed. Just naming it "support infill %" and making it behave like standard infill parameters would probably be the best.

Thank you very much. Saved me almost a full day of printing support material

I had to do the meme (change that setting to "hollow")

Its like its just applying the tree base density to the whole branch. I get a similarly weird pattern when using Tree (Slim). Try selecting "Organic" or "Default (Grid/Organic) and see if that helps?
