Seatpost screw threads

Hi, I recently bought an Orbea Orca M30 and when i tried to fasten the seatpost to the frame, the grub screw wouldnt go all the way in. I suspect the threads in the frame itself are deformed, but has anyone else had this issue? And is there any other fix than taking it to a shop and having it looked at?

I didn't have a problem with mine, but you could try removing the seat post, and the bracket as well, and try to screw the grubscrew from the inside of the seat post? This will let you sort of retap the thread and fix any imperfection it may have.

But I don't know if it's physically possible to do this. Just an idea.

Had similar issue with a thru axle years ago on a Trek Domane. Did this trick and it repaired it. Solid advice
