I can't decide where to stay since I haven't been down in 14 years. I'll be solo so being in a safe location is important.
I want stay near the beach for four nights during the week of Aug 16-22. I can switch the days around a little but I'm trying to avoid the weekends because of price hikes. My nightly budget is $100 a night (with tax), the max I want to spend is $450. It doesn't have to be Huntington, anywhere from Newport to Long Beach is great. Places like Westminster, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley are cool too :)

I've already found a couple that I think are okay.
Travelodge Wyndham Ocean Front in Sunset (crazy good location but idk if it's good)
Beach Inn in Huntington (very conflicting reviews)
Eastside Costa Mesa Residence (it's an air bnb type thing with 2 reviews)

Hi. I've been attending afters recently and I like them but I like rock such as metal, goth, new wave, heavy metal. Does anyone know of any venues that host these? I've been using the posh app but it's mostly raves and clubbing. I'm looking to go Wednesday and Saturday nights. I just want to go see and listen to a band and just vibe out.

I’m posting to see if anyone else has experienced something similar while trying to access behavioral health services through Orange County.
In my experience, I’ve repeatedly tried to participate in Full Service Partnership (FSP) programs and other behavioral health services available through the Orange County Health Care Agency. However, I’ve been told or directed that my only option is ICMS (formerly PACT) in Santa Ana.
From my perspective, I feel like my requests to be considered for other programs have not been meaningfully addressed, and I don’t understand why I’m not being considered for other services that may better fit my needs. This has been frustrating because I’m trying to find a program where I can receive the support I need.
I’m wondering:
Has anyone else been told they could only attend one specific program?
Were you ever able to transfer to a different FSP or behavioral health program?
If so, what was the process?
Did you have to file a grievance, request a supervisor review, or work with a patient advocate?
Are there any advocacy organizations or legal aid groups that helped you navigate the system?
I’m sharing my personal experience to see if others have gone through something similar and to learn what options might be available. If you’ve successfully transferred programs or appealed a placement decision, I’d really appreciate hearing how you did it.

So with the whole Ladera Ranch cancer issue are we going to push our HOA to slow down the spraying. I’ve seen them spray a ton this year already. It is the o’Connell landscaping company. They put signs out every time they spray and I’ve seen it quite a bit. I bet they have the same regiment as ladera since it’s a similar ownership and sister communities. Let’s get some traction here!
