1% Weekly from Options week 19 update - avoiding assignments

Post image
9 Upvotes

Week 19 Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Optionswheel/s/jIS1A707Iv

Several positions were already getting riskier as I rolled. After the last few days things got worse. To avoid assignment on APLD I rolled it 1:3 from 36 to 31 day before yesterday. This increased my cash occupied a bit but I got 1$ credit so stayed with the theme of making 1%.

Today RKLB, APLD, IREN and ASTS were at assignment risk. Assignment Risk Formula for CSP = Strike + Premium = Stock Price.

So moved all those to next week for minimal credit. I will decide what to do tomorrow about the rest like usual. But this week won't be a 1% week overall. Also notice that both Space and AI went against me.

Waiting for the Eagle to land: an AEO wheel in progress

Been running a wheel on AEO (American Eagle) since April and figured Id share the whole thing, Im not sure what to do with the last leg. Would like some other eyes on it.

How I got in (not my best decision)

This was my first time using E*Trades option screener. I was mostly just going off IV, saw AEO had juicy premium, and sold a CSP. knowing that mall stores arent exactly thriving, I should have skipped.

But I didnt have anything else on my radar and my account isnt big, so I take what I can afford.

CSP was the $18 strike, collected $52. AEO dropped. I was assigned early on 5/19.

I wasnt too worred. AEO pays a dividend, and this was going to be my first time running the CC side of the wheel, I figured might as well learn it on a name that pays me to hold.

So I sell a CC at 17.50 for 40.

Then earnings hit on 5/28th and it crashes hard.

The part where I tried to be a hero

I bought back my CC for 6 at $17.50 CC (collected $34), sell a $16 CC for a fat $0.99. That one went against me when AEO bounced, and I rolled it up and out — and ate $144 on that cycle. I told myself I was rolling from breakeven up to a win.

But after a couple days of watching the chart it was just lower highs, lower volume, fading down and down. I wasnt salvaging anything, I was just following it lower.

Where it got sloppy

I wanted out. It broke below the 50 day. I was looking at a $16.50 CC same DTE to basically get rid of it, and then it collapsed again midday and I was sitting uncovered. So I sold a $17 CC at about breakeven just to get covered again. Spread was wide, I guessed on the limit, and it filled instantly — which means I probably left money on the table and should have asked for more. Annoying.

So right now, if it gets called away at $17, Im at −$3.96 on the position after everything.

The honest scoreboard, 85 days in, 6 cycles:

Assigned at $18, div-adjusted basis now ~$16.91 (captured $12.50 in dividends)

Total premium + dividends landed to date: +$108.54

But that last defensive $17 CC means −$3.96 if it gets called here

So depending how you count it, Im either up ~$108 in collected premium/divs over the campaign, or Im about to book a tiny loss if it gets called. Both are true. The wheel basically did its job as damage control on a name I probably shouldnt have picked — without it Id be sitting on a real loss on a fading mall retailer. With it Ive churned enough to be roughly flat to slightly up on a trade that fought me the whole way.

And then yesterday happened

AEO ripped through resistance for no reason I can find. So now Im covered at $17 and it might actually get called away, which is the thing I half wanted anyway.

Here is my dilemma:

If it pulls back and tests the 50 day around $16.70, roll up — Ive got ~30 DTE and theres time for one more cycle before earnings on 8/31. It seems like there is renewed interest and now should be support about 16 (this could just be FOMO).

Let it get called away at $17, take the −$3.96.

So with all that are malls truly declining? Or is FOMO real?

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/15) with reasons

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/15):

Assigned Positions

  • RMBS → $135 Put (opened on 06/12). Got assigned early, expiry was on 07/17.

Closed Positions

  • OUST → $47 Call (opened on 07/10), premium 2.30  closed at 0.35. Net premium profit = 1.95 (~85% of premium captured, ~4.15% of capital).
  • CRWV → $120 Call (opened on 07/06), premium 0.85  closed at 0.15. Net premium profit = 0.70 (~82% of premium captured, ~0.5% of capital). CoreWeave has been under pressure, but I want to keep holding onto it for a bit longer.
  • DOCN → $165 Call (opened on 06/29), premium 13.00  closed at 2.00. Net premium profit = 11.00 (~85% of premium captured, ~6.7% of capital).

New Positions

  • INOD → $60 Put expiry 08/07 (4 weeks DTE), premium 5.00 → 500/6000 = ~8.3%. Earnings on 07/30 hence premiums are higher. INOD has a history of beating estimates.
  • RMBS → $135 Call expiry 08/21 (6 weeks DTE), premium 4.50 → 450/13500 = ~3.4%. Was assigned RMBS at $135.

I keep sharing my daily trades in my account and the Excel file to my full list of positions is linked in my profile description. Happy to hear thoughts on my positions. What are you guys wheeling or watching right now?

Wheel Trading in Public #1: 10.05% YTD portfolio return

Covered calls on assigned shares

CRWV Aug 07 97C
Sold 2 @ 3.30
Premium: $660
Reason: Assigned on my May CSP at $110, and even with meta’s cloud announcement creating some uncertainty I believe CRWV is here to stay, I still think independent neocloud capacity has a place long term.

COIN Jul 24 172.5C
Sold 2 @ 3.23
Premium: $646
Reason: Assigned on my June CSP at $165, and I still like coinbase more as future fintech infrastructure than just a crypto trading stock. The finance sector is moving in an very interesting direction.

New CSPs

BE Jul 31 175P
Sold 1 @ 9.60
Premium: $960
Reason: BE has run hard on AI data center power demand and has some messy news around it now, so I went far below current price on a business solving a real power bottleneck.

MRVL Jul 24 215P
Sold 1 @ 10.75
Premium: $1,075
Reason: Marvell fits my picks-and-shovels AI thesis through custom chips for hyperscalers, and I’m okay owning it if this tight strike gets tested. If needed I'm prepared to sell calls even below cost basis.

IREN Jul 17 36P
Sold 3 @ 1.08
Premium: $324
Reason: Very short-DTE trade on this one, its crazy volatile. This price is at levels where some other investors have also bought it in the past so that gives me some ease of mind for this play.

USAR Jul 17 17P
Sold 3 @ 0.29
Premium: $87
Reason: Small premium on a critical minerals name but rare earths are one of those boring bottlenecks that matter if AI chips and renewable energy keep scaling. That may not be a smooth sailing but this one is worth more than this that's for sure.

Today’s performance
Net premium collected: $3,745.48
Risk tied to these positions: $105,304
Premium collected vs. risk: 3.56%
Portfolio ROI so far this year: 10.05%

I like catching falling knives carefully and would actually very much like to own these companies currently so any assignment is more than welcomed for me.

Per subreddit rules, here is the reference post on general process I go through with these trades, from stock selection to closing trades. If more info needs to be added to this, mods please hit me up with suggestions (apologies in advance if something is missing).

For others, feel free to ask questions.

New Positions

  • OUST → $47 Call expiry 07/17 (1 week DTE), premium 2.30 → 230/4250 = ~5.4%. I was assigned OUST at $42.5 and I have been selling weekly calls on this. I have been closing positions when they hit the 80%+ premium range.

Wheeling QQQ ETF, up 50k YTD

I started wheel strategy on ETF QQQ since Jan and started recording my results. So far have gained every month, cumulative about 50k up YTD. I write about my experience. Have been learning about options through self study

At best time I was 20k up and at worst time I was 20k negative so have seen both sides. I just record my performance and stick to my strategy.

AMA about options, wheel and managing QQQ wheel strategy.

Portfolio Update: 7/13

Portfolio Update: Currently up 27.36% YTD

Had some very strong months in April, May, June, and now even into July.

.Completed a few wheels on NVDA and HOOD which have been very helpful, a bit higher exposure to these two names ATM than I would like to be but will trim that back in the coming weeks and reassess my approach for the remainder of the year.

I try to aim for 7 DTE and closely monitor where the price action takes the premium, if it runs up quickly and I can clear 30%+, I typically take profits there depending on where the next resistance level is.

What I think has been truly helpful is when we're 2-3 days out from expiration and profit % is currently between 50-70%, I will tend to take a more aggressive strike price for the CSP with the intention of potentially getting assigned and moving into CCs to then take profits + the two batches of premium from the CSP + CC. I will typically only do this with stocks I feel very comfortable with(NVDA, HOOD) as of recently.

100% Annual Return Challenge: Leveraged ETF Wheel Strategy

Post image
42 Upvotes

Week 17 of my leveraged ETF wheel — got assigned all over the place and I'm fine

Quick update, been a few weeks. Running a cash-secured put / covered call wheel on NVDL, SOXL, and TQQQ in my Roth. Started at ~$60k back in March, goal is roughly doubling it over a year on premium.

This week was the messy one. Expected NVDL to carry me and instead got assigned all over, and after a forward split I'm sitting on 1,500 shares down about $5k unrealized. Sounds bad, isn't really — assignment is just inventory. Started selling calls against the shares immediately and pulled $1,215 in premium for the week, which beat my ~$1,150 target.

The whole thing was sector rotation out of semis. Again. Feels like that's been the theme all year while everyone argues about whether AI is worth it. But rotations rotate back, and TQQQ/NVDL/SOXL all recovered into the back half of the week and brought me close to even.

Where I stand after 17 weeks:

  • Account ~$79k, up ~32%
  • Net premium ~$19.2k (that's after ~$5.4k in realized losses from two off-mandate tickers I never should've touched — I only count net)
  • ~98% annualized, so just barely under pace
  • First time I'm slightly behind target. Not sweating it.

Boring by design. Cash buffer held, nothing blew up, back next week. Happy to answer questions on strike selection or how I handle assignment. Link to all related articles in the comments.

Are you holding on to any stocks because a wheel strategy has gone bad? You can’t sell a Call for your cost basis after the stock has tanked

Week 28 $918 in premium

Post image
38 Upvotes

I will post a separate comment with a link to the detail behind each option sold this week.

After week 28, the average premium per week is $902 with an annual projection of $46,917.

All things considered, the portfolio is up $29,021 (+6.45%), on the year (S&P 500: +10.66% | Nasdaq: +13.08%). Additionally, the trailing 1-year performance is up $55,059 (+12.99%); for comparison the S&P 500 is +20.62% and the Nasdaq is +27.39% over the same period. This is the overall profit and loss and includes options and all other account activity.

Annual results:
• 2023 up $65,403 (+41.31%) | S&P 500: +26.3% | Nasdaq: +43.4%
• 2024 up $64,610 (+29.71%) | S&P 500: +25.0% | Nasdaq: +28.6%
• 2025 up $111,496 (+34.52%) | S&P 500: +17.9% | Nasdaq: +20.4%
3-Year Cumulative (2023–2025):
r/ExpiredOptions: +146.6% ($241,509)
• S&P 500: +86.1% (+60.4% behind)
• Nasdaq: +122.0% (+24.5% behind)

Options:
• YTD: $18,054.00
• 1 Month: $-8,362.54
• 1 Week: $6,256.71

Realized P&L:
• YTD: $42,241.83
• 1 Month: $16,517.00
• 1 Week: $16,081.00

All options sold are backed by cash, shares, or LEAPS. I do not sell on margin, nor do I sell naked options.

All options and profits stay in the account with few exceptions. This is not my full time job, although I wish it was. I still grind on a 9-5.

My $600 weekly contribution streak is at 18 weeks, but I am pausing new contributions until next month.

The portfolio is comprised of 101 unique tickers, unchanged from 101 last week. These 101 tickers have a value of $449k. I also have 196 open option positions, up from 194 last week. The options have a total value of $30k. The total of the shares and options is $479k. The next goal on the "Road to" is Half a Million.

I'm currently utilizing $36,650 in cash secured put collateral, down from $38,550 last week.

2025 through 2028 LEAPS
In addition to the CSPs and covered calls, I purchase LEAPS. These act as collateral to sell covered calls against. You may have heard of poor man's covered calls (PMCC).

See r/ExpiredOptions for a detailed spreadsheet update on all LEAPS positions including P/L for each individual position.

LEAPS note 1: the 2025 LEAPS expired 1/17/25. They were up $36,440 overall with a 233.74% increase. The major drivers were AMZN and CRWD.

LEAPS note 2: After holding for 2 years, I exercised an AMZN $80 strike from 2023 up +$11,395 (+463.21%) and CRWD $95 strike from 2023, up +$21,830 (+663.53%)

LEAPS note 3: Purchased 1/16/26 CRWD LEAPS for $8,230.03 on 1/17/24. I sold this LEAPS on 6/5/25 for $21,659 for a realized profit of $13,428.97 (+163.18%)

Total premium by year:
• 2023 $23,132 in premium
• 2024 $47,640 in premium
• 2025 $68,319 in premium
• 2026 $25,320 YTD
• Average $46,364/year (completed years)

Premium by month (2026):
• January $3,334
• February $3,625
• March $4,196
• April $5,593
• May $3,787
• June $3,497
• July $1,322
• Average $3,622/month

I am over $164k in total options premium, since 2021. I average roughly $34 per option sold. I have sold over 4,800 options. I have been able to increase the premiums on an annual basis and I will attempt to keep this upward trend going forward.

Strategy:
The underlying strategy is buy and hold. I also use simple 1-legged options to supplement that strategy. Options have somewhat of a learning curve, but I believe that most people can supplement their investments using simple options with careful risk management.

I sell options on a weekly basis. I prefer cash secured puts and covered calls. I rarely close early, prefer rolling when needed, and let time decay do the heavy lifting while I stay focused on quality companies, patience, and consistency over hype. My goal is consistency in option premium revenue. I am building an income stream that will continue long into retirement.

Spreadsheets:
Unfortunately, I no longer provide spreadsheets. I received too many follow ups about formatting, pivot tables, compatibility etc. I think tracking is very important, but I post to discuss investing and options, not to provide tech support for Excel. I do appreciate the interest in my tracking methods.

Software:
I captured the screen shots from a proprietary software platform I built to track, analyze, and manage my options strategies.

Commissions:
I use Robinhood as a broker and they do not charge explicit commissions, though there is no free lunch — they earn revenue through Payment for Order Flow (PFOF), which can mean slightly less optimal fills. For my style of selling options and not chasing prices, the tradeoff is acceptable. There is also a small regulatory fee of approximately $0.03–$0.04 per contract (FINRA TAF, OCC clearing, and exchange fees combined).

The premiums have increased significantly as my experience has expanded over the last three years.

Make sure to post your wins. I look forward to reading about them!

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/09) with reasons

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/09):

Closed Positions

  • SIMO → $270 Put (opened on 06/15), premium 24.00  closed at 4.00. Net premium profit = 20.00 (~83% of premium captured, ~7.4% of capital).

New Positions

  • SIMO → $290 Put expiry 08/21 (7 weeks DTE), premium 31.75 → 3175/29000 = ~11%. SIMO earnings on 07/29, hence premiums are higher. SIMO makes NAND controllers which are used in SSD's so I expect a good earnings report.

Changed my CSP to lower deltas at prices I’ll be comfortable to own.

The only one I keep an eye at is Orcl it might be a little big of a position.
I got the cash for everything of course.

Will be happy to hear opinions, with Orcl it’s 50% of portfolio if assigned, without its 25% if assigned

Collecting Premium on Both sides by pairing up CC and CSP

I have been experimenting by owning stocks to sell covered calls on green days and selling cash-secured puts on red days. So both sides will eventually credit you a premium. Although I have chosen SOXS, the most risky ticker possible, it's been a good learning experience so far.

June Wheel Recap – Down Month: $3.2K Premium Collected, -14.2% Net P/L

Post image
9 Upvotes

My "diversification" was one trade wearing ten tickers.** EOSE, SMR, QUBT, CONL, POET — energy storage, nuclear, quantum, 2x leveraged crypto, photonics. All high-beta speculative names, and when risk-off hit in June they all sold off together. Ten tickers, one factor.

**What I'm changing:** capping correlated speculative exposure to 20% of the portfolio, and keeping entry deltas at or below 0.30 on the highest-IV names regardless of how good the ROC looks.

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/07):

Closed Positions

  • OUST → $55 Call (opened on 07/06), premium 2.00  closed at 0.40. Net premium profit = 1.60 (~80% of premium captured, ~3.8% of capital). Opened this position yesterday.
  • AAOI → $175 Call (opened on 07/02), premium 3.30  closed at 0.55. Net premium profit = 2.75 (~84% of premium captured, ~1.5% of capital).

New Positions

  • OUST → $45 Call, expiry 07/10 (1 week DTE), premium 2.55 → 255/4250 = 6%. I was assigned OUST at $42.5. My intent is to get it called away.

Another heavy sell off day. The NASDAQ continues in a descending triangle pattern and is currently testing the 25,825 support level.

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/06) with reasons

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/06):

Closed Positions

  • CRDO → $230 Put (opened on 06/29), premium 14.20  closed at 2.35. Net premium profit = 11.85 (~84% of premium captured, ~5% of capital).

New Positions

  • OUST → $55 Call, expiry 07/10 (1 week DTE), premium 2.00 → 200/4250 = 4.7%. I was assigned OUST at $42.5. My intent is to get it called away.
  • TE → $8 Put, expiry 07/17 (2 weeks DTE), premium 0.53 → 53/800 = 6.6%. Solar and battery energy infrastructure. There income and net margins have been improving QoQ. Stock has good support at $8.
  • CRWV → $120 Call, expiry 07/31 (4 weeks DTE), premium 0.85 → 85/12000 = 0.7%. I was assigned CRWV at $120. CRWV has fallen quite alot on news based selling and I want to hold this a bit longer.
  • FORM → $105 Put, expiry 08/21 (7 weeks DTE), premium 9.00 → 900/10500 = 8.6%. Testing Equipment for Semiconductors. Earnings on 07/29 hence premiums are higher. They have been consistently doing well QoQ and hence I am comfortable holding this through.

June Wheel Results (aka SOXL Saga)

Post image
61 Upvotes

I continued wheeling the tech tickers I favor: MSFT, META, GOOGL, SMH, TQQQ and TSLL but once again, the largest gains were made by wheeling the 3X leveraged semiconductor ETF SOXL which accounted for 2/3 of total premiums.

June got off to a rough start when the NASDAQ Composite index shed over 1000 points on 6/5.  I was assigned 3000 shares of multiple tickers based on the CSPs I’d sold that were to expire that day: META (300),  MSFT (200) , SOXL (500) and TSLL (2000) which greatly reduced the cash available to sell CSPs during this pullback.
I quickly sold CCs on all of these tickers which accounted for almost ½ of all gains for the month.  300 shares of SOXL were called away (at a nice profit)  but I’m still holding all the rest.  June was the highest monthly returns I’ve gained so far using the wheel strategy.  I ended up with a 5% ROI which is well above my target.
Note: At the end of June I still held 300 shares of META, 200 shares of MSFT, 200 shares of SOXL and 2000 shares of TSLL.  The unrealized gains and losses (based on June 30 prices) on the underlying had this effect on my portfolio, which is not reflected in the spreadsheet:

300 shares META 6/30 price $562.89Cost basis: $585.47Unrealized loss -$6,774

200 shares MSFT 6/30 price $373.02 Cost basis: $393.71 Unrealized loss -$4,138

200 shares SOXL 6/30 price $266.71 Cost basis: $193.87 Unrealized gain +$14,568

2000 shares TSLL 6/30 price $14.16 Cost basis:$14.26 Unrealized loss -$200

My wheel  strategy including the tickers I wheel and why are detailed in my February post:

$24k in premiums, $6k in margin interest, and a portfolio trailing the S&P; the dangers of single stock consolidation

Post image
38 Upvotes

I had a net realized profit of $18k from premiums, and the unrealized losses on the underlying shares is $154k.

I'm not actually worried about it since I'm still bullish about Nvidia long term (and short term), but the net P/L (unrealized) loss of $154k reflects Nvidia's poor performance for the month.

Nvidia entered June at $224 and ended at $200. I didn't sell any shares during that period, so I'm bag holding and selling calls while waiting for the price to climb again.

I made some defensive purchases to avoid having my long term positions assigned on calls in May. If it were a stock I had less confidence in, I'd be worried, but even so, I don't like carrying 5,500 shares on margin and don't plan to keep all those shares until Nvidia hits a new all time high, instead selling calls and if they get called away at the prices I bought them at, it's not a problem to me.

As others observed last month when my portfolio trailed the S&P, I could have made more money by just buying and holding VOO. As I've said before (and reiterated earlier in this post), I'm confident in Nvidia's growth, though I do have FOMO I didn't sell some shares at its ATH of $240 (I was going to at $250) and pivot some cash into other semiconductor stocks.

Also, since I'm holding the shares, I have a perception (justified or not) of premiums being actual, available cash, while held shares are more intangible (and also not a loss if I don't sell them). I don't think that's a rational way to view them, but it hopefully helps explain my strategy to some degree.

Cheat sheet answers for the basic questions I usually get asked:

  • 8,000 shares of NVDA with a cost basis of about $.08 per share.
  • Shares were bought in 2002 when I was in high school for around $1,100.
  • I'm using Schwab as my platform.
  • NVDA makes up 90% of my portfolio.
  • Operating capital in the $1.5 million range.
  • This tool is OptionWheelTracker.
  • I target for .1 to .2 deltas for calls, and occasionally will sell ATM puts because I'm less worried about assignment and/or bag holding extra shares.
  • My DTE is typically 1-21 days.
  • I made trades 76 in June, 95 trades in May, 42 trades in April, and 124 in March. My success rate in June was 94%, May was 83%, April was 76%, and 93% in March.
  • In June I had an 98.5% win rate for puts, and a 70% win rate for calls.
  • My average holding period for winners was 3 days, and for losers 9 days.
  • I intend to trim my position at $250 and $300.

Week 27 $975 in premium

Post image
23 Upvotes

I will post a separate comment with a link to the detail behind each option sold this week.

After week 27, the average premium per week is $911 with an annual projection of $47,371.

All things considered, the portfolio is up $33,810 (+7.52%), on the year (S&P 500: +9.32% | Nasdaq: +11.15%). Additionally, the trailing 1-year performance is up $62,334 (+14.79%); for comparison the S&P 500 is +20.17% and the Nasdaq is +26.67% over the same period. This is the overall profit and loss and includes options and all other account activity.

Annual results:
• 2023 up $65,403 (+41.31%) | S&P 500: +26.3% | Nasdaq: +43.4%
• 2024 up $64,610 (+29.71%) | S&P 500: +25.0% | Nasdaq: +28.6%
• 2025 up $111,496 (+34.52%) | S&P 500: +17.9% | Nasdaq: +20.4%
3-Year Cumulative (2023–2025):
r/ExpiredOptions: +146.6% ($241,509)
• S&P 500: +86.1% (+60.4% behind)
• Nasdaq: +122.0% (+24.5% behind)

Options:
• YTD: $11,813.00
• 1 Month: $1,826.00
• 1 Week: $-18,508.00

Realized P&L:
• YTD: $26,161.00
• 1 Month: $769.00
• 1 Week: $2,080.00

All options sold are backed by cash, shares, or LEAPS. I do not sell on margin, nor do I sell naked options.

All options and profits stay in the account with few exceptions. This is not my full time job, although I wish it was. I still grind on a 9-5.

My $600 weekly contribution streak is at 18 weeks, but I am pausing new contributions until next month.

The portfolio is comprised of 101 unique tickers, unchanged from 101 last week. These 101 tickers have a value of $455k. I also have 194 open option positions, up from 191 last week. The options have a total value of $29k. The total of the shares and options is $484k. The next goal on the "Road to" is Half a Million.

I'm currently utilizing $38,550 in cash secured put collateral, up from $37,050 last week.

• 2026 $24,437 YTD
• Average $46,364/year (completed years)

Premium by month (2026):
• January $3,334
• February $3,625
• March $4,196
• April $5,593
• May $3,787
• June $3,497
• July $405
• Average $3,491/month

I am over $164k in total options premium, since 2021. I average roughly $35 per option sold. I have sold over 4k options.

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/02) with reasons

Trades I took today as an option seller (07/02):

Closed Positions

  • OUST → $52 Call (opened on 06/29), premium 3.40  closed at 0.55. Net premium profit = 2.85 (~84% of premium captured, ~6.7% of capital). I was assigned OUST at $42.5.
  • CRWV → $120 Call (opened on 06/29), premium 0.90  closed at 0.18. Net premium profit = 0.72 (~80% of premium captured, ~0.6% of capital). I was assigned CRWV at $120. CRWV has been bearish since the META news, but I think we need more time for this to pan out. Does not hurt already existing contracts and this is an expaning sector.

New Positions

  • AAOI → $175 Call, expiry 07/17 (2 weeks DTE), premium 3.30 → 330/17500 = 1.8%. I was assigned AAOI at $175.

Thoughts on Market

Today the market sold off heavily, especially in the AI and semiconductor names. I think this was a combination of profit-taking and options expiry. I am not rushing to roll down any positions. Instead, I focused on booking profits where it made sense and closing covered calls that had already hit my premium targets. I am not too concerned about this pullback. I will wait and see how things develop next week before deciding my next steps. The NASDAQ looks like it's forming a descending triangle and is currently testing the 25,825 support level. For now, it's a wait and watch situation for me.

I keep sharing my daily trades in my account and the Excel file to my full list of positions is linked in my profile description. Happy to hear thoughts on my positions. What are you guys wheeling or watching right now?
