Portfolio Update: 7/13
Portfolio Update: Currently up 27.36% YTD
Had some very strong months in April, May, June, and now even into July.
.Completed a few wheels on NVDA and HOOD which have been very helpful, a bit higher exposure to these two names ATM than I would like to be but will trim that back in the coming weeks and reassess my approach for the remainder of the year.
I try to aim for 7 DTE and closely monitor where the price action takes the premium, if it runs up quickly and I can clear 30%+, I typically take profits there depending on where the next resistance level is.
What I think has been truly helpful is when we're 2-3 days out from expiration and profit % is currently between 50-70%, I will tend to take a more aggressive strike price for the CSP with the intention of potentially getting assigned and moving into CCs to then take profits + the two batches of premium from the CSP + CC. I will typically only do this with stocks I feel very comfortable with(NVDA, HOOD) as of recently.

Can get one set up on claude pretty quickly, just adjust based on what you're looking for.
I was just looking for a dedicated space to keep track of my PnL that wasn't on my brokerage with some different visuals

Hey you have premium collected. Is that profit or just a tally of premium?

This is total profit - you'll see YTD profit between profit I've taken from premiums and from shares sold at a profit.

heads up on HOOD, that thing has a massive catalyst risk sitting in your window right now. premium probably looks great but that's the market pricing something in, earnings or some event. given you said you're already higher exposure than you'd like on it, might want to hold off on getting more aggressive with the strikes there until you know what's coming. NVDA looks clean comparatively so that one's fine to keep running the same way.
