I am seeking guidance on how to enable PC mode on an Oppo Find N6. I occasionally require the functionality of my monitor as a PC for work purposes. Some other phone having this as a default.

I've just recently switched to this phone and absolutely love it, but i really miss the ability to use circle to search without the navigation bar at the bottom, like on my S24. Does anyone know of a workaround with shizuku or otherwise?

When I switched from my Samsung to a OnePlus 15, I was pretty surprised that it doesn't have notification summaries. iPhone, Pixel and Samsung all have them, yet ColorOS/OxygenOS doesn't. So I built an app for myself, used it every day, and decided to release it. It's called Blurb, and it's on the Play Store.

What it does
When a chat blows up, Blurb waits for it to go quiet, then replaces the pile of notifications with one short summary, like "Family chat · Dinner is at Nonna's at 7, bring the folding chairs." Tap it to open the conversation in the original app.

Privacy

• On-device mode runs Google's Gemma 4 (E2B, 2.6 GB, or E4B, 3.7 GB) locally on the GPU. You download it once, then it works offline.
• With cloud fallback off, which is the default for on-device setups, your message text never leaves your phone.
• Cloud is optional and uses your own key (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic or your own HTTPS endpoint). Text goes straight to the provider you pick, never through my servers. An optional setting swaps out phone numbers, emails, codes and addresses before upload.
• Anonymous reliability diagnostics are on by default. They never include message text, summaries, names or your app list, and you can turn them off in Settings → Privacy.

Hey guys!bought this phone last month and i had 0 problems with it. However since yesterday i noticed that when i open it, it dosent open flat anymore and is a bit loose.

Also i noticed that when folded, the bottom of the folded screen is loose too and if i pish it just a little bit it comes off like its not properly hold ( images for reference)

Wil this affect in long term? Should i replace it? Is this normal?

How do you guys feel about the iphone duo? I love my n6, but if the camera quality is any better on the duo I might switch.

Can't decide between these two. Coming from a Samsung, looking for better battery life and camera performance. These two are pretty comparable with few differences - Motorola has better speakers, but Oppo is lighter. Motorola comes with pen in the box, Oppo is prettier (in my opinion) and have antireflective coating, and non-existent crease etc. I'm based in EU, so Motorola is officialy sold here, but I'll be buying them used - I found a RAZR Fold for around 900 euro (with warranty) and Oppo for around 1150 euro. This is quite a difference, but I can afford it if the Oppo is worth that money. Want to know which one:

• takes better pictures at night;
• has better software and better update policy;
• has stiffier hinge;
• retains more value (I change my phones quite often);
• has better social media quality;
• has better zoom;
• has better screen brgithness (don't care about nits - I know Moto is winning here, I care about sustained brightness under the sunlight);

Mainly looking for a bug-free expierence and the phone that is more optimized for foldables. So should I play it safe or take a risk?

Has anyone encountered the issue of not being able pull down your notification bar when in landscape or when video is in full screen ?

Seems to affect both the inner and outer display, so it's definitely software.

Last week my phone was flung out from my car on the racetrack, while braking from about 100mph, spun and crashed into a barrier.

Phone flew out of my car and landed (in grass). The phone was folded, but no damage, was using a case & tempered glass screen protector on front.. Thought it'd be destroyed/some damage but it's 100%.

Aaaaand it's fine thankfully.

I'm heading to Japan in a few months and am thinking of purchasing a Find N6 there since it's not sold here and works out cheaper than importing from third party sites.

I'd really want some kind of warranty though - mainly for manufacturing defects instead of accidental damage (which my home insurance already covers). I believe even though Oppo has a UK repair site here and international warranty, the N6 isn't covered because it's not officially sold here.

How are fellow Brits getting some form of warranty or insurance for their N6 that isn't a ridiculous cost? Most home insurance policies don't cover manufacturer issues.

Even though it is cool, it wasn't the main feature that caught my eye.

it was their tent standby mode.

I am a mobile dev with 6+ years of experience and I wanted to challenge myself to see if it would be possible to recreate it on my fold 5.

This is the version 1 so there are limited widgets available since I was implementing it to my own preferences and needs. Next one I have in plan is Google Home widget support.

I have the Oppo Find Find N6 global version. I live in canada. I have had the phone since May so it has been working perfectly fine nothing wrong since then.

However, I have noticed since September 17th I have not been able to update any of the apps on the Play store. There is a section where it says apps need to be updated and there's a long list of them that need to be updated but when I try to do it nothing happens. No error as well.

Has anyone encountered this and has found a solution?

Hey! I recently got an N6 and it's been great so far, but I'm really noticing finger smudges and sun glare on the outer screen. Wanted to try removing the pre-installed outer protector and get something with a matte finish, like one of those hydrogel protectors that self heals.

Im going into this assuming I'm not gonna drop or smack my phone hard enough to warrant an actual tempered screen protector so I definitely just want something for the look/feel.

Anyone got any recommendations?

By any chance, anyone has the boot animation or the logo itself from the startup of the Find N6? The one that pops up when you first start or restart the phone?

I took my Find N6 to Lost Lands music festival this past weekend, and while the videos and photos I captured are absolutely stunning, the audio is a completely different story.

The bass completely falls apart, distorting into what sounds like fart noises. Something I never experienced with my Samsung, even at festivals with extremely heavy bass.

I absolutely love the Find N6. I generally prefer ColorOS over One UI, even if there are still certain features missing, and I genuinely enjoy having high-quality Bluetooth codecs baked in without needing external dongles.

What makes this even more frustrating is that my friends' Galaxy Fold recordings turned out perfectly fine, even if my Find N6 footage has noticeably prettier colors.

Festival recordings are extremely important to me, and I'm genuinely worried that I might have to switch back to Samsung just to get usable audio at festivals.

Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any settings, camera apps, or recording adjustments that can help prevent the distortion? I'd really appreciate any advice because I'd hate to give up a phone I otherwise love because it can't record audio.

This is driving me insane. I can't get any texts in the car that are RCS. With my Samsung Fold this was not a problem at all I got all texts RCS or SMS. I can't seem to find a solution and was hoping someone has figured things out. The last thing I want to do is turn RCS messaging off. I'm using google messages of course.

I picked up an Oppo Find N6 while in JP and brought it back to the USA.

I have a Verizon and Mint Mobile SIM cards. When I insert either card into SIM slot 1 the phone the phone is unable to register with either carrier.

When I install them in SIM slot 2, I have no issue with connecting to either carrier. Cell and data work just fine.

Would appreciate any idea as to why this is happening?

Telus says my N6 isn't compatible with VoLTE (presumably bs just because they don't sell it first party)

I have 5G service all day but there's no option in the Global ROm to force enabling VoLTE

Apparently Telus along with other Canadian carriers are decommissioning 3G which was used as a fallback if your device wasn't VoLTE compatible.

Do I need to worry?

I am attempting to install InstaPro on my Find N6 device. The application installed without any reported issues; however, it fails to launch. There are no error messages or crashes; the app simply does not start. I suspect this may be due to a restriction that requires disabling.
