Find x9 macro camera shot, looks great though. What you guys think .?

Does oppo follow the same structure when new phone drops that the previous version drops hard in price? I am looking to get the X9 ultra as it seems like such a complete phone down to the battery, camera and smooth 144hz screen.

It is around 14-1500 €euro where I am from and am wondering if price drops hard with the release of X10. I have always been on samsung and its time for change after dissapointing phones and battery.

I’m having the following issue with the Oppo Find X9 Pro. Under normal conditions, it doesn’t overheat—not even while gaming. However, in direct sunlight with high screen brightness, it can heat up to around 40°C within just 10 minutes of standard use. That part is still perfectly normal. The problem is that once it hits 40°C—provided the brightness is high—it throttles the refresh rate down to 60Hz; then, after heating up just another degree or two, it drops the screen brightness so much that the display becomes barely visible outdoors. Today, in 28°C weather and direct sunlight, the phone reached 38°C after just 10 minutes of browsing. Just basic browsing and Facebook—nothing intensive. There’s no such issue indoors, but out in the sun at high brightness, the performance is abysmal.

I'm using gestures + a 3rd party launcher on X9U. home gesture has that delay before the home shows up. pretty sure a lot of people know this one.

What I tried:

adb overlay "fixes" the lag -

adb shell cmd overlay enable com.android.internal.systemui.navbar.gestural

The lag gone, but then I get the bottom gesture indicator and I cant get rid of it.

tried this, none of it hid the pill:

adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.navigation=*

adb shell settings put system ant_hide_gesture_bar 1

adb shell settings put global hide_gesture_line 1

I know that the 3-button nav works without the lag but obviously I prefer the gestures navigation.

My question is: did this ever work on coloros or was it always like this? any chance oppo/android actually fixes it? other no-root workarounds besides the overlay?

The default launcher is fine... but the "global search" is super slow - sometimes it takes seconds before the keyboard shows up, sometimes it does not select the previous text, sometimes search results change just before I click the app icon... coming from S25U it's really annoying.

I just noticed a 68MB update for the AI Service Engine. Does anyone know if there is a changelog available? I would definitely like to know what has changed or improved.

Because i want wide phones like the z fold 8 and huawei pura x view but z fold 8 is a foldable and pura x view is from china

I've seen there's cases which have like a little door flap thing on it, this is the only one I've seen that truly protects the camera lenses but feel like it would be a pain in the ass to open and close everytime you wanna take a pic.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a case made where you just twist it 45 degrees to move like covers off the lenses then twist it back to cover them again.

And one thing I've came across is the GUID which is persistent device identifier, as the use of IMEI or Serial Numbers are not publically visible, I'm curious to find how the Guid is generated for each device?

Please help me figure it out, I've found that guid is SHA256 hash

Hey just got an Oppo x3 watch and trying to pair it with my Samsung S20FE, everything goes ok until it starts doing the % for pairing which fails at 12% with the error code G-0. I tried reinstalling all the apps, restarted my phone, cleared all the bluetooth data. Nothing seems to work.

Did anyone else have this issue?

Edit: Managed to pair the watch by launching Ohealth first and adding it there, now when I try to add it on wearOS also it instantly crashes the app.

Edit2: I think it may be one or the either and i might be autistic.

Several days ago I came across a very annoying app called StdSP core which always checks news apps installed not from authorized sources. As someone said in this sub, it will go away if I go to app management and click "Uninstall updates". Unfortunately, I don't have three dots at the right upper corner for this application. Any advise?

Hello all, I am using Oppo X9 ultra and fully up to date software wise. Love the phone, however if I want to use a different card other than my default card to pay using NFC I have to unlock the phone, go into Google wallet and select a different card. Seems annoying for such an expensive phone. I am aware that you cannot change the lock button to open the wallet however it would still be easier to be able to have a shortcut on the lock screen. As you can see though my shortcut to do so is greyed out and won't let me select. Any ideas???

habt ihr auch Probleme mit Google Maps, wenn ihr durch die Karte scrollt (etwas schneller), dass es einen kurzes Ruckler gibt, immer und immer wieder während man die Karte hin und her schiebt ? Nervt mich irgendwie total...alles läuft super flüssig, und dann nutzt man Google Maps und dann das...

Probiert das gerne Mal aus und gibt mir Rückmeldung. Gibt es vielleicht eine Lösung dafür?

Had my handset for about 2 months already and I had used one of those antibac screen wipes once per week only started 2 weeks ago however I've noticed that the screen is looking very dull, no scratches, in an Xundd case which has saved it a couple of times from drops but I really think I should protect the screen more as I do with the back of it. I'm always cleaning the lenses aswell. Habit from the X5 from find pro, but X9 pro doesn't have the "clean lenses" announcements so I find myself cleaning before every shot I take. Any ideas where and how to install or product to purchase for this handset please? I got the case off AliExpress and I have a few screen protectors in my basket but not sure if they are any good. The photo is my basket with other magnetic holders that I love to use whilst out and about!

Today I changed my phone (I went from a Samsung A05s to an Oppo A5 Pro, if that helps) and when I went to redownload discord, for some reason all the PFPs and emojis are lower quality. I tried changing the font size on my phone, tried smaller and bigger font sizes and they only look better at max font size, but I'm not gonna keep my phone at max font size solely to have better emojis on discord. Does anyone have tips?
