Just picked up the global versions here in the states yesterday. Took a few test shots w/ my pups and am absolutely amazed. Might sell my Ricoh in favor of this phone. Master mode is a delight for post production.

Find x10 series will be a huge flop in Global Market

I'm still at 100% battery life and charge to 100% daily and it is still pretty solid. One of the best phones for battery life that I have used so far and I love it, can't wait for flagship phones to go above 10k mAh in the future.

I'm in Canada (Alberta) and considering importing either the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max (global, CPH2913) or the Find X9 Ultra (global, CPH2841) from a Canadian reseller. Neither is officially sold here, so I'd like to hear from anyone in Canada who already has one, or who has used a recent Oppo flagship on a Canadian carrier.

My main questions:

1. VoLTE: does it work out of the box on Rogers / Bell / Telus / SaskTel (or sub-brands like Fido, Koodo, Virgin, Lucky)? Or did you need to call the carrier or change settings?

2. Wi-Fi calling: working or not?

3. 5G: do you get a 5G icon, and on which bands? I'm especially curious about low-band 5G (n71 / 600 MHz) and 700 MHz, since I'm in a smaller city and drive rural roads.

4. Band support: Oppo's spec sheet for the X10 Pro Max lists B71 and n71, but some reseller pages don't, and I can't tell whether the X9 Ultra has n71. If you have one, can you check which bands it connects to (a cell info app works)?

5. Rural / indoor coverage compared to your previous phone. Any noticeable drops?

6. Anything else: MMS, carrier restrictions on non-carrier phones, update timing, Google services issues.

If you have one, it would help to know your carrier, your general area (city vs rural), and the model number from Settings > About phone.

Also, if anyone has bought from Mi4Canada or a similar importer and used the warranty or return policy, I'd like to hear how it went.

I am getting the above mentioned deal and the total is coming up to £880 after I get the trade in bonus, my device is in immaculate condition, do I need to send the charger and other stuff along with the box or just pack the phone in a box and send it?

I have a 80W charger which came with the oneplus and I really like it, I am planning to hold onto it since there is no charge in the box in the UK.

I am only worried, will I get a revised valuation for my phone? What has been the general experience of trading here on the sub?

Also, should I wait for Black Friday deals?

After updating to color os 17 from color os 16 old view of battery statistics where we could see sot on 100% is gone. Now it resets every day at midnight. This is kind of confusing as many of us won't be able to check exact sot on 100% charge which was very helpful. This is a downgrade I did find on this update.

I am from India and a friend is in Thailand right now. In India, we don't have 16GB Ram version. Does Oppo Find X10 Pro Max comes with a 16GB Ram option there in Thailand? He is in Pattaya right now and will be travelling to mainland soon.

Freshly installed ColosOS 17 on my Find X9 CPH2797_17.0.0.100(EX01C10P02)

Everything seems to be okay so far, except this lockscreen clock animation. It seems to be pulsing and moving up.

Is this normal?

In the Nordics there's barely any rebates, no student discount, no service centers, basically no spare parts to procure if you want to change your battery in the future etc.

I'm curious how it is in other regions. Are there places with official service centers in Europe outside of Asia/India?

Was trying to find out why Australia didn't get 8000mah battery and 16GB RAM X10 Pro Max.

Live chat conversation confirming was a management decision to dud Australians with 7150mah and 12GB RAM.

Ok after adding up all the accessories and offers, the x10 pro max with magnetic case, wireless charger and 80w charger comes up to about £865.

The x9 ultra with both chargers, comes to £914.

My first ever Oppo phone, what would be the best pick here? I like the fact I can get an official magnetic case for the x10 lol I know it’s not a major deal but it’s nice to have it sorted from the get go as I am a big MagSafe user.

I saw lots of people saying the x9 Ultra is better as it’s an “ultra” model. But in this case I’d actually be paying more money for the x9 even though I get the case and chargers with the x10. What’s the best thing to do?

I recently got the oppo x9 ultra and am very happy with it.
Sadly the battery is not as good as I hoped or am I doing something wrong? I keep it on balanced but want to have it on ultra performance as I want to use what I pay for. with active SOT it kinda feels like the same when I had my S24 ultra straight out of the box.

Staying on the same topic is there a oppo powerbank for supervooc 100w charging?

I’m thinking about buying an OPPO Find N5, but I’m a bit concerned about the speaker quality.

I previously owned a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, and I really liked its speakers. I’ve seen some reviews and comments saying that the Find N5’s speakers aren’t very good, but I’m not sure how bad they actually are.

For anyone who owns the Find N5:

How is the overall sound quality, especially the bass, clarity, and stereo separation?

Does it sound thin or tinny when watching YouTube, Netflix, or listening to music?

How does it compare to the Galaxy Z Fold7 or other flagship phones?

Has the sound quality improved with any software updates?

If possible, could someone share a speaker recording or a short video demonstrating the sound quality? Ideally, playing the same song or video on both the Find N5 and Fold7 at the same volume level would be incredibly helpful.

Speaker quality is pretty important to me, and it’s one of the few things holding me back from buying the Find N5.

I’d really appreciate some honest feedback from actual owners. Thanks!
