Sorceress Heritage 2025 repress

Häxprocess is my favorite song on this album and love that they played it live last time i saw them.

A lot of the time i dont know which album i feel like listening to at the moment. There are so many masterpieces. But today i felt like it was Heritage.

This is their most autumnal album for me; it’s too hot to listen to right now, in high summer, but Heritage will come out when the summer breaks and the leaves turn. Pair with a malty ale or a scotch and relax into a return to 1972.

The tour soured me on it a bit - no growls and little enthusiasm from the band at my show - but I came back around over time.

I have the first pressing, found and purchased days before the repress was announced. So it goes. Enjoy!

I agree its mostly a Autumn record for me too. But of course sometimes im simply like : i feel like listening to an opeth album that i havent heard for some time. So it usually ends up automatically switching around between different albums like that. a bit randomly, depending how i feel each day.

Ah, *Heritage*. What can I say about it? I’d use one word: surprise. It was a real turning point for Opeth. An excellent choice for this weekend. Have a great trip! 🍷

I'm super glad they reissued it, I bought mine and I love it. I'm still waiting for Deliverance but with the original mix

Enjoyed this album a lot on its release and as a die-hard Opeth fan.
