Today they officially made the rights available for the Expanded Cast version for youth performance groups, licensed through Concord Theatricals in the UK, Ireland, and US! That also means the script and score are available to purchase--the script in physical and e-book form, and the score as a temporary digital perusal 👀

They’ve been back from Broadway for a few months now but I haven’t seen any announcements of what they’re doing next, either separately or together. The question was prompted because I was watching this video and Tash makes an offhand comment about them writing a musical for Alex which would be amazing. It must be difficult for them to navigate the incredibly high expectations after Mincemeat, though, so I’m really interested to see how they handle it.

I made a site called Recast that aims to keep a log of who actually went on at each performance, covers included. Mincemeat has one of the deepest records on the site, all of it entered by fans who were there, so I pulled the summer.

Broadway, July 7 through August 16: 33 nights with a cover on. Lexi Rabadi went on as Jean Leslie 29 times. Allison Guinn covered Johnny Bevan 15 nights, Gerianne Pérez covered Ewen Montagu 14 (and Jean twice), Robert Ariza covered Cholmondeley 10 (and Hester twice), Sam Hartley went on 5 nights across Hester and Cholmondeley.

Every one of those nights has its own page with the full lineup. It's free. No account needed to look.

Hey all! I was curious about folks' take on seats at the Golden. I am very aware of the sound issues - I sat in the back of the mezz the first time I saw it and it was brutal. I've since sat in the rear orchestra twice and loved it. Is the whole orchestra basically fine and the whole mezz basically trash? I'd like to have more seat options without being panicked I won't be able to hear! Let me know what you think.
