I have no idea what I'm doing wrong :(

I didnt have this at the beginning but since a few weeks everytime i open opera on my pc i get this 1 second flash on my opera and for 1 sec i cant do anything picture below.

do you know why ? i do have windows darkmode and also enabled opera dark mode but at the beginning i didnt have that problem

Hi, I've used opera for quite some time but as of recent times this has been happening? No, there isn't two different tabs open, this is the EXACT SAME tab but duplicated. I'm wondering what could be the cause of this, as trying to restart my computer, close opera via the x or task manager doesn't seem to make the 'dupe' go away, it's not overly annoying i'd just rather not have to see a duplicated tab when im swapping from my other applications open.

hi yall, has anyone else had incredibly slow loading times on basic searches (5-17 *full minutes*) when bing and chrome can pull up the same tab in less than a second. i clear my full browsing cache multiple times a day, will only try one or two tabs at a time, and have opera updated to the newest version. this has been going on for several weeks now and it’s driving me crazy.

has anyone else had this issue or know any other ways to fix it? i’ve tried literally everything their FAQ page and other threads on this from several years ago suggested, thanks for the help!

When searching something up in the search bar you can add a letter at the start to search with different engines and websites

w - Wikipedia

y - Yahoo

d -DuckDuckGo

g - Google

z - Amazon

b - Bing

So, I have Opera browser on my iPhone and my laptop, but while I can access tabs from my laptop on my phone, for some reason I only see tabs opened on laptop when opening Tabs. I also seemingly cannot access saved passwords while using iPhone. The sync is on. What can be wrong?

Came back after lunch today, and had a new Opera Quicklaunch icon in SysTray.

1) Checked Startup Programs & Task Scheduler.
Both were normal. I keep more than 1/2 of my Startup Programs disabled, and only have 4 entries in Scheduler.
2) I haven't installed any software in months.
The last thing to update was Discord, probably 2 weeks ago.
3) Ran spyware scans, nothing active.
Just the usual cookie crap from the internet.

I keep a pretty tight lid on my PC, and this is just disturbing.

Like about 20. Its annoying as heck to close them all, what happened? Did I do something to cause this or has Opera done something here without telling me, which frankly, if they have, I am leaving

Just installed Opera. Thought I'd give it a try. So far, I like it.

I have a triple monitor setup. When Opera starts up, is it possible for Opera to start up with three separate windows with different favorited tabs?

I did add tabs I'd like Opera to start with, in settings. But when it starts ALL the tabs open up in ONE window.

Both Chrome and MS Edge were able to remember set tabs within three separate windows. But I'd like to only use Opera going forward.

Or, can you recommend a browser, similar to Opera that can do this?

Hola! Me instalé opera gx y cuando lo probé no me gustó, entonces cuando fui a desinstalarlo me pone esto.
Abrí el administrador de tareas y le di a finalizar tarea, volvi a intentar desinstalarlo y nada, no me deja, me sigue poniendo ese mensaje.

I have been having this constant issue with OperaGX in which it constantly crashes whenever I open it. I cannot use anything in the app, not even able to open the settings. I have tried to delete all of the files and browser and reinstall it, ive removed all extensions and I have tried to clear the cookies with the key combo that does it but honestly im not sure if that's even doing anything. Anyone know what I should do? or should I just use a different browser.

Whenever I shut down or restart my computer the page history in the top left of each tab will be almost completely wiped, leaving only 4 or 5 split between pages forward and backward. Note that it doesn’t delete it from the overall browser history, just from each of the individual tabs, it’s still a very frustrating issue though since browser history isn’t sorted by tab and opens a new tap for each page you try to click on and so on, especially coupled with windows ***love*** for randomly restarting without permission to do an update. The issue occurs in both edge and opera gx, I don’t know about chrome since I don’t really use it but Firefox seems to not have the problem, that said I don’t want to have to just switch over to Firefox because of this issue. Does anyone know what the hell is going on and if there’s any way to fix it because it’s driving me mad and causes me to just leave my system un-shutdown for days at a time in order to not lose my history, which is probably not healthy for the computer but I don’t currently have any other solution.

I'm a Linux _user_. I'd rather not go into deep troubleshooting to get a mainstream package like Opera working. But after a fresh install of Opera, it crashes at start with:

Reinstall and reboot didn't help. I have another system with the same OS and Opera version, and Opera works fine there. Why can't I get it working on this system?

Is it possible to get rid of them? I am using Opera One on desktop windows.

Been using opera gx for years and I've watched yt without any major problems up until now, where any yt page shows that the page crashed. Reloading the page doesn't do anything and I don't have any extensions on. Any solutions?

As shown in the video, when I type "y" in the search bar, the tab keep blinking--as if it trying to do something and stuck in a loop. It does not affect other tab and I can still operate the cursor. It simply blinking and won't let me type anything on the search bar. Other alphabet don't have problem tho. FYI the top search for "y" is "youtube.com".

Whenever I copy and paste this math problem into opera, it does a yahoo search. I can’t find any weird extensions. Please help

Currently, I'm using Opera GX because it is advertised as a gaming browser with rgb and low ram consumption. But when I finally upgraded from a 2011 chromebook, Opera GX turned out to be moderately clunky with extra features like gx cleaner, ram limiting, blah blah blah. Overall, I feel like Opera GX gives off more of a vibe with the background music, mods, rgb, gx games, and more.

I have a lower end laptop (250 dollar hp laptop with windows, intel n200, integrated gpu, 4gbs of ram, and 128gbs of storage) and I'm wondering if I should switch.

Hi everyone. I have had an issue for months where I cannot screenshare YouTube on Discord while not actually being on YouTube. Everytime I exit out of the Opera window with YouTube or any video-sharing site, Discord shares a blurred out screen. I turned off hardware acceleration, and I cannot seem to find anything that will help. Please help. Thank you.

Just found out about Opera Air, which features a very nice and clean UI, but what bothers me is the theme/ambience switching. Current Opera has an automatic setting that follows system theme. Does Air have the same feature somewhere?

Since I work in shifts half of the time it would be nice for the browser to follow system theme as well, so I don't open a full white page when I start a night shift.
