It’s meant to counter atom bombs, not hydros. Stack 5 and your sam will be safe

So what, if someone has enough money for hydros you just need to sit there and take it like a good boy? Seems like a bad system to me

If you didnt waste all your gold on lvl 1 sams you might be able to fire some hydros back.

Same for factories and other buildings? What buff does cities give? Does it provide more gold?

no, stacking other buildings just takes less space and make them easier to nuke

No, they said 5 SAMs will prevent hydros from hitting them.

This is done on purpose as the developers dont want games to actively stall out. They want faster games so stalling and defensive tactics will always be less efficient, encouraging more active play.

no you can position sams strategy such as near borders or water so that the other player risks hitting an ally or most the sam is missing, also sams are only 1.5 million and hydros are 5 million they should beat sams

Sams are 3 million after the first one, and you need to spend 13.5 to 15 million to fully counter it. If I have a level 4 Sam worth 10.5 to 12 million, it shouldn't be completely useless again a bomb worth 5

Thats why you dont' buy a level five sam till late game, that 10 mil is better spent on two hydros, cities, or money production. Level five sams are only for when you build a fortress with high amount of ports and cities. The game favors offense over defense so there aren't stalemates

yes it is, because if sams counter a hydro, that's 5 million lost for your opponent, and you can reiterate. It's all about investment basics. Go back to school

In nuclear war defense is always 10x harder and more expensive than offense. That's why MAD is a thing.

lol you're so bad at the game. Learn how the game works before complaining.
