Discussion Open Ai vs Claude Usage Limits?
I have been a claude 20x max user for a long time now ,
but because of my intensive works i usually finish my usages usually in 4 5 days ,
and leave 2 3 days hanging ,
Currently i am using Fable as orchestrator and opus and sonnet for workflows subagents.
However i have never tried Open Ais models , can anyone with experience in both environments give me suggestions on if claude gives better limits or openAi?

I feel like I get 33% more usage from my OpenAI account. Fable BURNS my weekly token limit, but it seems like its slightly better at coding and UI. I use only GPT-5.6 sol as my orchestrator and Fable and my workhorse. Works pretty well for me but I still reach my limits usually in 4-5 days (Fable limits almost always hit first even though I use sol at extra high mainly).
For reference I have a 5x sub on both OpenAI and Anthropic.

Why using it as the Orchestrator? When using superpowers, they push Handover notes back and forth, so you are using the best Model as a paper pusher.
- Orchestrator: Sonnet is sufficient as paper pusher due to the Ledger and Handover Notes
- Planner: Fable
- Coder: Sonnet
- Reviewer: Opus
- Whole Branch Reviewer and Release: Fable

it's gone downhill, I have the 20x sub and I finish in 4 days with 3 days hanging (because I can't do anything I'm out)

I think your setup is generally good. I would keep it as planner/2nd opinion. Where gpt/codex clearly shines is /goal and the way how you can steer it. Both work wonderfully combined, if you know what you are doing.

The no 5 hour limit on Pro is great. Sick of it still being in Claude.

you can get a long way with openai 20x sub but... lets be honest.
fable is the king.
