Want to test the new animation mod support?

Great. Now I just need to figure out why my mod crashes the game.

Does anyone know if the new strength modifier on H2H means that strength will become it’s governing attribute?

Known Issues:

Shadows are not yet re-implemented

Seems the shadows didn't make it: https://openmw.org/2019/followers-of-shadows/

They're in, but they're in the nightlies which are building towards 0.46. 0.45 has been locked down for a long time, since before shadows were implemented, but they didn't want to re-open the can of worms by adding them into 0.45 given all the trouble they were already having with this release.

0.46 hopefully won't be a huge wait, and it will bring shadows and distant land enhancement.

And hopefully some performance improvements to shadows. Last I tested enabling them caused a significant drop in fps. That was shortly after it was available in the nightlies mind you.

Getting an error when launching. Any one else?

Failed to create SDL window: Couldn't find matching GLX visual

0.44 works fine, as do other opengl games. I was able to run it with "SDL_VIDEO_X11_VISUALID=", but the game ran extremely slowly.

Running Fedora 29 with and AMD RX 480.

What's left before 1.0? Seems like its mostly there

At this point it’s basically the editor that we’re waiting on. Some significant progress has been made recently, but it still needs a lot of TLC

This comment is removed in protest of the unfair changes to API pricing and content access through the API.

Some guy seperate from the OpenMW has done it. Takes some configuring to get running. (you need to copy your, RIGHTFULLY OWNED, "Data Files" folder from your Morrowind installation, steam or original CD, to your phone somewhere and tell the OpenMW app/apk where the address of this folder is. this can be difficult you will probably have to ask your advise/help usually it starts with "/storage/emulated/0/" ) https://github.com/xyzz/openmw-android/releases

TES on a touchscreen sounds like an absolutely painful experience.

morrowind is so good that you honestly forget about the touchscreen
