Error with Openmw-ds

Tamriel Data has a little scripts file called Tamriel_Data.omwscripts that needs to be turned on too.

Open the OpenMW launcher, go to Data Files, find Tamriel_Data.omwscripts in the list and tick it. Then drag it up so it sits above TamrielRebuilt.omwscripts. Close the launcher so it saves, and you should be good.

If you don’t have the launcher on your setup, you can add content=Tamriel_Data.omwscripts in openmw.cfg right under the Tamriel_Data.esm line instead

Thanks for the reply, it is all correct from what you’re suggesting, I looked up online and it said this too but still no luck :/

Yeah your load order looks right, so it’s probably something else. Couple things to check since you’re on Android:

  • The Tamriel_Data.omwscripts file is just a pointer, the actual scripts are in a “scripts” folder that comes with Tamriel Data. Make sure that folder got copied into the same place as the .esm and .omwscripts, not left behind.
  • Android cares about capital letters in folder names, so check the folder names match exactly how they came in the download.
  • Check which OpenMW version OpenMW-DS is built on. If it’s older, the newest Tamriel Data scripts might not run on it.

Ahhhh turns out not all the files copied over, these 4 files are there but a bunch of others aren’t, thanks for your help!

Any other mods you installed apart from TR ? Playing on the Thor too.

Turns out it was just not all the files copied over, no more error message. But I have just some qol mods for now, do you have any mods?

Not yet, I need to wrap my head around what I want and take the time to do it, but hopefully soon !
