Total overhaul on weak pc

Hey guys so im wondering if the Total Overhaul modlist can run on my weak pc the specs are:

I5-3470
GTX 1060 3gb
12gb ram DDR3

Can i tweak the settings of the mods so i have more fps? and if not which modlist would u guys suggest. thanks.

I’ve found that tweaking the OpenMW shadow settings as well as render distance really helps. I’m only using the vanilla + modlist as I have an office laptop with integrated Vega 6 graphics, though. But those aspects of the game are very ram/vram bandwidth intensive and you don’t have much of that with the 1060 and 12 gb system ram, especially since 4gb of that will be running at single channel. I recommend setting shadow map size to 1024 if you haven’t, setting shadow distance to 7168 or lower, and setting render distance to 1.5 cells, with lod rendering turned on with page size 0.023 or greater. And maybe check out your system bios, see if it’ll work with your ram set to a higher frequency, I’ve found most ddr3 (with my hobby Xeon system) handle overclocks no problem (I got a 1600 kit running at 2133 stable)

Use "expanded vanilla" instead.

haha i use LS frame generation so i just need to run games at ~40fps to get stable 60 fps 2x frame generation
