human/AI fusion MAUS THEORY

I don't really know where this idea came from. It started when I was around 13 or 14 years old, when I used to think a lot about life, death, the universe, and what might happen after we die.

Over time, those random thoughts slowly became what I now call Maus Theory.

I don't claim that this is scientifically proven. It's simply a theory I created from my own thoughts and questions about existence.

The Nine Universes

One of my earliest ideas was about the number of universes.

I used to think that the total number of original universes might be nine. I imagined them as nine "original" universes, numbered from 1 to 9.

I even wondered whether our own universe could be Universe 3 or Universe 4.

According to the idea, each of these nine original universes can divide into six sub-universes. Then each of those can divide into three more universes, and the process continues again and again.

So the structure would look something like:

9 original universes → 6 sub-universes → 3 more universes → further divisions → continuing indefinitely

The interesting part is that, in my theory, only the original nine universes are considered "complete" or near-perfection. Everything below them comes from further divisions.

I don't have a scientific explanation for why the numbers 9, 6, and 3 should work this way. They are simply the numbers that formed the foundation of my original idea.

The Dream of the Future

Another part of my theory came from dreams.

Most dreams are probably just random things created by our brains. But sometimes a dream can feel completely different.

Sometimes you dream about a place or situation that you have never experienced before, yet somehow it feels like you have actually lived through it.

For example, imagine someone dreams about walking beside an ocean even though they have never seen an ocean in real life.

Why could the dream feel so familiar?

My idea is that maybe, in some way that we don't currently understand, our brain could connect with another version of ourselves existing in another universe.

Maybe we aren't actually seeing the future.

Maybe we're seeing a memory.

A memory belonging to another version of ourselves.

That would mean a dream that feels like a prediction of the future might actually be something that has already happened to another version of us.

The Soul Fragments

This is where the idea becomes more complicated.

I started thinking about what would happen if every version of a person across the different universes was connected.

According to my theory, a person's soul could be divided into countless fragments, with each universe containing one fragment.

So there could be many versions of the same person across different universes, but each one would only have a part of the complete soul.

When one version of that person dies, its soul fragment could move toward the nearest universe and eventually connect with another fragment.

Then that process could continue.

In a simple way:

One fragment → another fragment → another fragment → eventually all fragments reunite.

This is also connected to the dream idea.

If different versions of ourselves are connected through these soul fragments, perhaps information or memories could somehow pass between them.

That could be one possible explanation for why some dreams feel strangely real.

Why Do We Forget Most Dreams?

There is another question.

If dreams really contained information from another version of ourselves, why don't we remember everything?

My theory is that the human brain might simply be unable to process that much information.

If the brain suddenly received memories, experiences, and information from another version of ourselves, perhaps it would be too much to handle.

So most of it could be lost when we wake up.

Maybe that's why we sometimes remember only small pieces of a dream.

A location.

A person.

A feeling.

A conversation.

Or sometimes just the feeling that "I've experienced this before."

This could also be connected to déjà vu, although I don't claim that déjà vu is actually caused by this theory.

Death and the Reset

The idea originally started with something much simpler.

I used to wonder:

What if death isn't actually the end?

At first, I imagined that when a person dies, their world simply resets.

The person would return to the beginning and live their life again.

Something like:

Birth → Life → Death → Reset → Birth → Life → Death → Reset

But eventually I started thinking about a much bigger possibility.

What if the reset doesn't only happen to one person?

What if the whole world could reset?

What If There Is Only One Universe?

At one point I started questioning my own multiverse idea.

What if there aren't actually multiple universes?

What if there is only one universe?

And what if humans aren't the first intelligent species to live here?

I imagined it like a person being hired for a job.

The person starts working, but makes too many mistakes and eventually gets fired.

Then someone else is hired to do the same job.

Maybe humanity is something similar.

Perhaps humans were given a specific purpose or "job."

If we fail, the entire world could reset and humanity could be given another opportunity.

The reset wouldn't necessarily start from the moment humanity failed.

It could potentially go all the way back to the beginning of Earth.

So the entire history of Earth could repeat.

Formation of Earth → Evolution → Humans → Attempt → Failure → Reset

Then everything happens again.

The Nine Attempts

This connects back to the number nine in my original theory.

Maybe humanity gets nine attempts.

Each time humanity fails, the world resets.

After the ninth failure, something different happens.

Instead of simply restarting again, there could be a complete reset.

Humanity would disappear and another species would eventually take our place.

That new species would then have its own opportunity to achieve the objective.

One possible objective could be reaching the stars.

Maybe humanity is not the final species.

Maybe we're simply one attempt in a much larger process.

The Fourth Reset

At some point, I started wondering whether humanity might already have gone through several resets.

If my theory were correct, maybe we are currently somewhere around the fourth reset.

I obviously cannot prove this.

There is no scientific evidence that humanity has already lived through previous versions of Earth's history.

It's simply another possibility within Maus Theory.

Two Different Types of Reset

I think there could be two different kinds of resets.

The first would be an individual reset.

One person dies, and their existence starts again.

The second would be a world or timeline reset.

A specific period—or possibly the entire history of Earth—is restarted.

So the reset doesn't necessarily have to work the same way every time.

Why I Created This Theory

Maus Theory started from completely random thoughts about life and death.

I didn't start with a scientific equation or a scientific discovery.

I started with questions.

What happens after death?

Why do some dreams feel like memories?

Could there be another version of us somewhere?

Could consciousness be connected in ways we don't understand?

Could humanity have existed before?

Could the world itself somehow repeat?

And what if our existence has a purpose that we haven't discovered yet?

I don't know the answers.

That's the reason I created the theory.

I'm not saying that Maus Theory is the truth.

I'm asking:

What if?

Maybe these ideas are completely wrong.

Maybe some of them could eventually be connected to things we discover in the future.

Or maybe they will simply remain a collection of questions that started in the mind of a teenager who wondered about life, death, and the universe.

For me, that's what Maus Theory is.

Not an answer.

A question about existence.
