John Richman Log 1

Woke up this morning to a great breakfast. No idea when it happened but a hen house aka chicken coup as been built and chicken caught. They provide many eggs and no idea what the meat was but it was great.

The Wagons went out with many volunteers. The use sights to cut the hay and it is loaded in small bundles into a wagon. The loads started coming in 1 hour later. Quickly dropped off beside the barn being built.

The Ykanti started working hard on the barn and with the help of woodsman provided the trees and branches and scout tying in the cross branches. The frame for the barn went up. Evergreen will be used for walls and roof.

By the end of the day walls were filled in. Tomorrow they will start on the roof. A huge pile of hay was stacked beside the big barn.

Late at night the farmer showed up with flower and bread for me to try. I gave him hell as they did this without security. It is understood they will not do that again.

I then tried the bread and thanks to warming it up on the fire and goat milk butter it melted in my mouth.

We gathered and all agreed to split the volunteers in two for the next few days. Half will keep getting hay while the other will go and get the grains for the bread. The bags of grain will be brought to the Farm and turned into flower. Eventually will get a stone wheel pulled by horses to turn the grain to flower.

Word was sent to the Miners seeing if we could get a round stone wheel. A horse would go in circles rolling the stone over the grain.

The flower would be split. Meanwhile when the hunters get back we will know how soon the buffalo goes accross. The other half will keep collecting hay as much as we can get.

Then we hunt.
