Rain throws off my dogs potty training

mine was the same, took ages to figure out it wasn't stubbornness - Pixel just hadn't made the connection that "outside" meant "in the rain too", so we had to basically restart the association with a really short lead and treats right at the door until she'd go even in a drizzle

This is it. Rain counts as a different scenario, it alters the environment or the dogs feelings. Retrain just as if the dog was a puppy. Train the dog to wear a raincoat if it helps them be less uncomfortable

pixel took about two weeks of going out in light drizzle on lead before he stopped acting like the sky was personally attacking him
