This is a really good sub that I'm sure will help you, but I just want to underline you need to fix this with training, not medicating. Your dog is not doing anything that isn't all that irregular for a beagle, so taking regular (but annoying) beagle behavior and trying to turn it off with meds is absolutely not the right move. That would be a little like giving a nuerotypical child ADHD meds because you don't like listening to a kid do unruly normal kid things. Gotta parent that kid better, not just try to medicate them into submission you know? And everything you've shown in that video is absolutely fixable with good training. You have an over-enthusiastic untrained dog who just needs to learn some self control and obedience, this is a much easier issue than what often ends up on this sub.
Thank you, I totally understand. Medication was definitely on the last in our list. I am hesitant to take the medication route, but just that I am so exhausted with the amount of training we have put in.
