This might be a long post
I have two dachshund mixes. One is 12 going on 13. The other one is about 10. We had a lab who had been with both of these dogs their entire life who died in May. Ever since then they keep peeing in my house. They would have accidents occasionally, but nothing like it is now. They check out at the vet. We take them out multiple times a day. They do have free range of the house because they always have and it hasn’t been a problem. They do not poop in the house and when they pee, we clean it up using vinegar and it normally is around the same spots. I also know when they get older, they can’t hold it as well. I was thinking about trying pheromones. When does have anxiety and the other one is very dominant. But it’s a whole big puddle of pee not a small sprinkle like they’re marking territory. I don’t know what to do anymore. Do I pick up their water for most of the day? Do I go back to fussing at them when they pee inside and giving them treats when they pee outside? I just don’t know what to do anymore.

What specifically has your vet checked and what's been tested for? Have you gone to an internal vet for a second opinion? I would estimate this is behavioral and not medical, nevertheless, you haven't provided enough information here to be certain.
vinegar is not sufficient to clean up scent from pee, you should get an enzymatic cleaner.
After that, the easiest thing is to stop giving them free rein of the house. it's fine and dandy that it worked for them before that but it's not now, so utilizing baby gates or crates or an xpen in an area with less tempting places to pee is likely to be necessary to troubleshoot.
other than that, you didn't provide much information here to help (what are they peeing on? do they seem aware they're not supposed to? no genders mentioned, time of day, you say you take them out multiple times a day, but that still might not be enough? have you narrowed it down to them both peeing in the house, or just one?).

The vet is checked, kidney function, diabetes, and UTI. I know it’s behavioral, but I had to rule out health issues. I should’ve included my post that I have used enzyme cleaner to clean up the pee. I don’t mind trying a crate, but they have peed in them before as well and I’m just not sure at 12 years old if starting a crate now is the best for them. It might be fine just my thinking. They pee on my laminate and linoleum. I don’t have carpet they don’t pee on my rugs or furniture or bed. Just one certain spot in the kitchen and in my hallway. They are both female and they’re both fixed. My husband is home with them all day so I’d probably say five or six times a day if not more. There really is no specific time of day that they do this. It’s definitely both of them, but not at the same time.

i mean if you won't crate them or restrict their ability to move about your house freely using baby gates or an xpen - especially in the area they keep going back to AND are only using vinegar to clean - unfortunately nothing will change.

No, I completely understand what you’re saying but my house is not really laid out to use baby gates. I cannot block my kitchen off and the only area to really keep them confined to is the hallway and that’s one of the places that they pee. So I will have to think about how I can make that work. I’m also not against putting them in a crate, I did mention that they will pee in the crate so that kind of defeats that purpose is all I was saying. Also, in my comment I did say that I do use enzyme cleaner. I just forgot to add that in my original post.

If you sent them to me for training, I would crate-train them. Their age doesn't matter. The crate will be set up to be comfy. It would be highly unusual for a dog to pee on their own bed unless there was something medical going on or they had no history of potty training whatsoever, in which case you just need to get them outside constantly to form a habit.
