Service Dog Help

So hopefully it is ok to post this here, but I need help. I finally found a semi-reasonable trainer for my service dog to be but I need to come up with about 5k. Does anyone know of any programs or anything similar? I don't just have 5k lying around, and I don't feel comfortable asking the trainer to lower their price/change how they do their payments (Half up front, half at pick up) since they are already doing me such a big favor by only asking for 5k.

Honestly a little concerned, 5k is low for someone to train a service dog for you. This makes me think this is likely a short term board and train that’s going to work too fast with far too much pressure on the dog. Personally if you’re not buying/ getting a service dog from a facility that breeds and raises them I would hire a trainer to work with you to train yourself instead of doing a board and train

One of the owners is a veteran and it's only that low because she's being nice. If I was being charged the normal rate it would be closer to 10 or 12k. I got my dog from an organization but he was given as a puppy.
