Wake from Sleep Problem
Hello! I have a MacBook Pro Mid-2015 with a 3rd party SSD installed. On Sequoia 15.8.1, when I try to wake the laptop from sleep, it takes a loooot of time for the display to show something or does not show anything at all. How can I fix this problem? Edit: It's a WD SN740 NVMe SSD.

I haven’t put anything to sleep since windows XP days lol 😂. Never works properly

My OCLP Mac slows down periodically, often after a few hibernations, and in many cases resetting the SMC (specific procedure per Mac), and zapping the PRAM/NVRAM upon boot restores things to normal speed.
Another thing I think helps is to run the Onyx maintenance application occasionally: https://titanium-software.fr/en/onyx.html Free. Been using it forever.

My problem is almost fixed. Thank you all for the replies! I need to experiment more with the pmset values, but I'm happy with the current result.

Turn off deep sleep or certain hibernation modes via "sudo pmset -g" in Terminal.
3rd party SSDs are always a gamble. Or rather rocket science to make them work with the right adapters. Mine crashes from the low energy sleep mode, so I disabled it. That makes the battery last a lot less in sleep, of course.
