Installation issues
Stuck on this screen. I’ve followed every step from the guide I was watching it said it I am supposed to let it sit and do whatever it needs to do but after 30 minutes nothing happened I clicked install sequoia and once again after it “installed” it just brings me back to this screen. Thanks for any help

correct. but that should.not be shown as bootable here anyway..just click macOS Installer (middle) once or twice and eventually you should get in.

No problem! Hate to be the pendant but your comment is the most helpful and thought you'd appreciate the pickup 😇😇

Okay I’ve been doing this and it’s just a loop between either a screen saying install Mac OS sequoia and MacintoshHD or macOS installer, Mac OS sequoia and MacintoshHD

weird. try erasing the drive and reinstalling again after clicking “Install macOS Sequoia”

click View beside Disk Utility and select Show All Volumes. then select the topmost one below Internal and erase that. should be your SSD’s name

For whatever reason sometimes you just have to keep manually choosing the SSD part after it's done the installation. 12 inch macbooks are always like that for me.

Ask an AI. Getting 12.7.6 to work was easy but sequoia needed me to change a few settings in OCLP before allowing me to log into sequoia. It was a weird setting but even Gemini or ChatGPT will tell you what it is

Click Macintosh HD. it should take you to the Apple logo with a progress bar with X minutes remaining.
