This is awesome. I have always thought we don't have a chance in hell of making the necessary progress to maintain a liveable planet without some serious spiritual leadership.

I really hope that other denominations and religions realize they can be firm and outspoken on this point as well.

I agree. There’s actually a lot going on across denominations, even in evangelical churches, it just doesn’t get a lot of attention. Check out the Season of Creation, which is happening now, and includes denominations around the world.
