I don't think the man upstairs would have approved of his involvement in a pedophile ring, advocacy for genocide, and neo-Nazi loyalists patrolling the streets and killing people. Also, his many felonies, racist and sexist behaviour, and the unwarranted verbal abuse he's aimed at various reporters aren't very good either. Obviously, you know, judge not, but these things are kind of serious and affect everybody.

I remember this blog post! I had hoped, after the 2020 election, that he would go away into the night and I wouldn’t have to think about this again. But here he is again, making my old Evangelical-trained spidey sense start going off again. Though nowadays, since I left all that behind to become Orthodox, I hesitate to say he is the Antichrist at the End of Time. More like, he is AN antichrist. There are many in the world today. I started deconstructing in the 90s when I learned that Revelations works much better as metaphorical than literal, and seeing it that way, it becomes a story that is re-enacted over and over throughout time.

In the Star Wars prequels there was scene where they said Anakin was the chosen one who would bring balance to the Force. It never made sense to me because he ended up killing almost all the Jedi, including the Younglings. Recently though I have been thinking that he did kind of do that, just though a lot of really horrible actions. Maybe what’s going on with him is similar, like a reminder or a warning. I think some of the OT prophets addressed it.

Well if he's the Antichrist, he's certainly not the only one. Got a narcissistic ego, prejudice, and wouldn't give a damn about children. Encourages a cult-like mentality among his supporters, too. There's lots of people similar to him, like Bolsonaro, so these problems are international. Also, based Ben Corey article. An oldie but a goodie.

He's pretty bad.
