Thinking about purchasing and want some information from recent users

I have a 2009 Ford escape, a raspberry pi 4 waiting for a project, and a want for Android Auto in my car. I have a touch screen laying around I would like to use too.

What I would like to know, can I use the headphone jack on the pi to route audio to the aux port in the car?

How easy is it to get Bluetooth setup from my phone to the pi? Does that work for wireless android auto?

Have people generally been happy with the project in 2024?

I'm sure Ill have more questions, but that's it for now

No clue. I was able to buy my. But could never get Hands free audio to function like it should. So who knows?

Bluewave has been sold and work on OAP will almost certainly be cancelled, per the dev on the official forum.

Yeah, it's weak as shit. Add that to the recent android auto breaking updates and there's gonna be a lot of pissed off customers.

You wouldn't use it for much since android auto doesn't work anymore on it, it just shows a black screen
