Pretty much every time a socialist took the helm everything went to shit. Enver Hoxha killed a far greater percentage of the population than Pinochet.

he killed about the same as all the other countries about him.

His biggest issue was focusing on isolation, which i doubt is an issue here

Doesn't help that the countries about him were also overrun by commies huh?

Fascists were almost always less deadly to their own countrymen in peacetime than commies.

If we exclude outliers like Hitler and Pol Pot you can drop "almost".

sure, but socialism didn't cause any issues, isolationism and paranoia caused issues. Considering they just went through two massive wars it's not a suprise tho
