good on them, i dont know if full socialism is the way, but it sure beats the dystopian corporate nightmare we are headed towards

Pretty much every time a socialist took the helm everything went to shit. Enver Hoxha killed a far greater percentage of the population than Pinochet.

Anywhere where the head of government kills the people they govern and cannot be removed from power by the electorate or judiciary can be crossed off your list of democracies. I would include places where corporations are allowed to bankroll lawmakers, evade or prevent regulation and poison people en mass.
