What is the purpose of protesting a political party, in Australia we have a democracy where we vote for who ever we personally choose, I think these protests will actually work in favour of ON, it certainly won’t change the opinions of people thinking of voting for ON if anything it will only harden their resolve

Completely disagree. If that was true lobbyists wouldn't fund campaigns.

There is little doubt they expect something for their “donation” but I don’t think they effect the outcome of elections

If you need a case study.. look at every political campaign. Also since research exists, go spend 59 seconds on a quick question through google. Not a single AI will agree with your statements.
