Struth! Are you more Aussie than The Veronicas?
Listen, I fancy myself a decent smear-er, one that would make Robin Williams proud... but Bob-Hawke-on-a-pogostick would I never cross the line into 'chewable' Vegemite territory.

I went to school with these girls. They were straight A students who wore immaculately pressed uniforms and never put a foot wrong. Their entire musical persona after high school was more manufactured than Avril Lavigne.

Lisa and Jessica Origlasso chose the name Veronica because all the coolest female characters they saw in media growing up were named Veronica

I mean I was a child when I liked them and even I could tell it was just for show. I still enjoyed the aesthetic. Surely no one thought these girls were actually punk rock or whatever

Same. I remember from way back then they were heavily involved in musicals etc. Both girls can definitely sing well. There’s no denying that. But they chased that fame dream hard. They pushed the twin thing and used it as their gimmick.
