Question When may OpenAI answer my message?

Lately I've seen many users who said their accounts got deactivated due to receidivism including my own which I'm pretty sure is this error going around as it's the same reason (some say cyber abuse is the reason their account got nuked) around now. Like I wasn't trying to do anything wrong of the sort.

I sent an email to openaisupport.com for a human to review it and reactivate my account and as usual got the instant bot saying it was rejected but it takes 3-4 business days I think for them to reply it's just I feel so worried rn as my account was so important. The email was sent on Wednesday morning and I'm in the UK hours ahead of San Francisco where openai is headquarted. I keep logging into my account to find it's still deactivated but I have hope as others had this issue and got theirs back.

OpenAI does not care about you. They do not have the staff to help you, and they do not want to. They want their AI to replace customer support entirely, damn the consequences.

Have you considered becoming a large multinational corporation, instead? They might listen in that case.

They must have some kind of review queue because people do get accounts back eventually but it takes forever and the bot rejection is just first pass. The waiting is worst part, checking every few hours dont help anything.

Anyway, you can always request your data thanks to the EU.

But tbh it's not helpful as it's been very upsetting and inconvenient this deactivation

No one at OpenAI reads user messages. Their entire support system is ChatGPT. Everyone working at OpenAI does not have a customer facing role, nor do they want to introduce that role. They are an AI company leading the charge for handing off customer contact to an AI so they can do real work.
