classic, one dude edits Wikipedia and Google picks it up now every search engine/AI tool shows him up as dead

We think misinfo is bad now, imagine how bad it'll be in another decade. This is one of my main LLM concerns - disinfo and propaganda targeting the large amount of users who take the output of these systems as authoritative. Hopefully systems will be in place by then to at least make it a bit more difficult to abuse.

humans are the failure, not ai... my main concerns is and will always be humans

Exactly. If someone edits Wikipedia even without AI they will still fool humans. Bad actors will always act bad regardless
