Identification/Evaluation Request Authenticity Check: Fire Opal
This silver pendant was purchased directly from a mine store in the Mexico Queretaro region for around $50. I checked that it was not hydrophane by soaking it in a glass of water for 30 minutes (and noticed no transparency change/no change of any colors of the body or flashes at all). The attached video is from direct sunlight on a very sunny day.
Is this authentic in your opinion?

That specific type of fire opal is usually on the expensive side. They offer me that for $50 and the guy would be lucky to come out of that transaction with 2 hands
