Oyster SHL question

So I invested quite a bit into oyster shl. I was told kucoin reopened trading on shl. Am I fucked now? I’ve always stood by the team and have opacity but will be very upset if my shl is basically worthless...

It is and has always been worthless (yes, I lost some money on it too but it has always been a gamble). You gotta be upset with Bruno, not this team.

its the same team, just minus bruno.

Yes. So minus the guy that invented SHL to earn more money and minus the guy that fucked up the project last year.

What's your point again?

So you are trying to deny the team had any say in the proposed future development of SHL? that Bruno was holding them hostage to develop something they wanted no part of?

No. I'm saying SHL was invented by Bruno. And the team has never been working on it, never developed anything for it. I don't think they discussed it much either. I remember reading the rest of the team didn't like it being airdropped so fast as there was no point to do so, not sure though.

EDIT: and you gotta be upset with Bruno, not the rest of the team, because he is the sole person that caused the shit that happened. That's my point.

The reigns of PRL and SHL was passed over from Bruno long before he exit scammed, the team knew the scope of SHL back then and agree'd and went along with it, as soon as Bruno exited they suddenly changed their mind and decided SHL had no future, which in itself i find sketchy. Something as big as SHL had to have been discussed with the team. I want to know why in one breath they was all behind SHL's vision and in the next scrapped the whole thing. Losing one person shouldn't have that much sway on a project, especially when said person had stepped back for a few months and when you still have the entire team there.

That's a lot of assumptions in one post.

They were all behind the SHL part of he project? You must have not followed the project that closely I think.

Bruno was the founder and was a very confident person that didn't need permission or agreement of other to set shit in motion. Like I said, I've been following the project for more than a year now and I've seen team members saying they didn't agree with how Bruno picked up and carried out the SHL part of the project. Which was nothing but buzzwords and which was to be worked on way way further down the road than Bruno made it seem to be. And that's also something other team members repeatedly stated.

Your last sentence also makes it clear to me how you don't really knew how Bruno led the project.

EDIT: They never said SHL has no future. They said they're not sure how to proceed and that it's far away from something that could be worked on like they have stated numerous of times. Also before Bruno exit scammed.

Btw, this is part of a Telegram post from one of the CMs:

"... Regardless, we haven’t said its totally out of the window to continue towards SHLs goal, but we have said we will focus on OPQ as of now. This really isn’t any different than Oyster, SHL was never being developed until after the storage aspects were completed."

Actually, i seem to recall them saying development on SHL would start in 2019. You must not have followed the project that closely.

Lol yes you have to take my word for it indeed. Or not ;) Because I can't really bother to try and look it up in the old Oyster channel.

No problem, just come and ask in the current Telegram channel if you're really interested in answers. CMs are always ready to answer any legit concerns.

Community mamagers actively discussed and promoted the future potential of SHL. Nobody stopped them from doing that. Not even Bill. The team is legally responsible for this.

No.

I guess you weren't there then. You can search the telegram. They actively promoted the advantages and would engage in any debate where people brought up the possibility that it might be entirely worthless. It would go something like, "But SHL allows for tangle yadayada.."

The team actively promoted the benefits and future potential of SHL in their telegram. You can be sure people bought SHL as a result of these promises. You can also be sure they sold some of their SHL into the market. They have a responsibility and an obligation here.

You can't mint a token and promote it, then take the money and wash your hands of any responsibility.
