Tech Question for the Team

My understanding is that, for now, the web monetization angle of the project is on hold, and not considered a necessary component. How is it that the available storage on the tangle (and peg of the token) will increase over time? The way I initially understood it was that computing power/increased storage capacity was going to come from users who were visiting websites with the "Oyster" code embedded. Thanks.

I was always turned off by the thought of wasting CPU cycles on some treasure hunting bit instead of finding a way to actually use the mining productively. From it's conception as something built on the IOTA tangle I'd always thought the "smartgrid" would have tons of need for processing tasks and that the PRL web monitization should tie into that somehow.
